If Cole wants to switch back to DE to he 8th or 9th in the rotation ( 3rd, Pickett, Charles, Davis and potentially Wiley all ahead), then I’ll be perfectly fine. But criticizing the depth of the deepest room in the country makes you sound ridiculous

Personally, by the end of the year I will be much happier that Cantwell, Congdon, Pruitt, Wiley etc. got to play meaningful time and get experience instead of a 1 year guy. They will be completely different players by then too.

SJ Congdon and Buchanon. Would 💯 rather have an experienced Guard at one of the starting spots and Cantwell Buchanon and Congdon competing for the other. I don’t ever need to see SJ playing meaningful snaps for us again unless it’s at center and he’s figured out his snapping issues.

Sure, we'd all love to have 8 Reuben Bains in the DE room, but that just isn't how any sport works. This is one of the deepest groups in the country, and I don't think there is a single room Taylor would rather trade with
 
Now I know we didn't do enough OL work in the portal. We should have gotten another C IMO, and went all in for Seaton. Why pay all that for a QB, and the OL looks subpar. I would have spent necessary money to retain Kinsler and/or Plazz. Don't recruit and develop these guys for 2-4 years to go let them start at SEC schools. Seaton/McCoy/Portal/Kinsler/Samson? Whew

Hayden Lowe getting kicked off hurt a lot, many thought he was best balanced DE on roster in terms of playing run/pass both at high level.

Another veteran TE could have been beneficial, but I know they could forecast Gilbert getting hurt in summer.

I felt Mario and Mirabal trusted their own players and evaluations too much, and thought of them in higher regard than what they actually are right now.

Like I think SJ could be a good C in another year or so. I think Buchanon can be good in another year or 2, I think Cantwell can be a star in another year or 2, but not now. Same with Congdon.

We should have kept Kinsler…big loss at guard.
 
We did WORK in the portal. Retained a lot of talent, took best QB, top WR, Top EDGE, high rated nickel.

My ONLY gripes were, do we really have to do this iffy kicker strategy. Couldn’t we return Kinsler, we need depth.

Line would look much better
Samson- (best of the rest)- RRod - McCoy- Kinsler. And actually have the talent to let Congden and Cantwell come into their own.
