Lingard and coach’s lack of communication

Because he's faster than both Cam and Deejay. Cam didn't show **** against CMU, and I've been one of his more vocal supporters (even putting him over Deejay, which I've been laughably wrong this year on that point). Also, 90% of RBs coming out of HS aren't 5 star players either. Again, the staff has shown that it'll play preferential players over more proven players - example Patchan as he's starting over Hill and Rousseau, both of whom have done more with limited snaps than he has.

You guys talk about lack of depth, well this is one of the curses of having a ton of depth

RB position? Loaded

WR position? Loaded

it shouldn't be no surprise then that players are not gonna be happy. Can't snap the ball to 7 wide receivers and 3 RB's every play, and with the attitude of todays players it's even worse. I agree it's time to get him in here, the guy has barely played a snap since he got here.

That being said, the cold truth is he was hobbled all of spring/summer and then got a concussion. The doctors obviously still have him in the brace for a reason, I doubt that's manny being over cautious.

He's been an ambassador to the program, and we need some life on offense. If I'm manny I give him 5-10 snaps minimum next game and see how it goes. If he looks like the 5 star player that he was rated, then give him as many as needed. THEN we can all watch the other two RB's start getting irritated and repeat all this non-sense again in a different format because we're CIS and that's what we do.
 
If pass pro or learning the playbook are still problems for him, why not have him start by returning kicks? Not like JT4 has been the second coming of Devin Hester. At least that way LL sees the field.

A running backs shelf life is pretty short in the NFL. No running back worth a **** is going to stay in college for 4 years, let alone 5 years, which would be the case should they decide to redshirt Lingard. So what's the point of redshirting him?

Just get him on the **** field, now!

No, just a huge canes fan bro. I’m not saying your wrong about the facts you used..but in order to explain the situation we are at now regarding Zo, your facts are cut short and incomplete..everything that’s happened since Zo injury, justifies his place currently on the depths chart. Unless you disregard that and base it off his recruiting rankings and where he was as a true freshman before tearing his ACL, which I’m sure you agree, only a huge Lorenzo fan would try and do
 
I think with things like this our fans need to chill. People @ players on social media etc only makes things worse.

I replied to a poster that said he was overrated. Had zero to do with his current position on the depth chart.

This has happened for the last 10 years+. We don't blow out the teams we should blow out so that the 2nd & 3rd stringers can get playing time.

So yes, they are leaving the program, a couple at a time, b/c they have two other 5 stars ahead of them! THATS NOT THE FCKING CASE HERE! All transfers ain’t the same. The guys from Bama, UGA, Clemson...they transferring b/c they know they ain’t never going to see playing time w some many other blue chip players ahead of them. There’s no reason for Lo, if healthy, not to see the field, period!

You're right. He's just coming off being injured for almost a year and coaches whose livelihood depends on winning games are purposefully not playing Lingard.

Then why did Manny say he was good to go to play against CMU?? HE said it. Not the fans or his parents. HE did. And then you don't play him?

And to the Cam fans..Look lets not act like this is a "Frank Gore in 2001 going ape$hit crazy so Willis McGahee sat the bench" situation. Cam has played alright and all but not good enough to completely put Lo on the bench either.

So those Lingard family posts I shared from yesterday seem to have made the rounds. Noles are talking about it in a smack talk group, and hurricane haters is already making memes. This situation got a lot bigger overnight, I wonder if it’s discussed/felt at practice today.
 
This is just more stupidity.

If he is ready to go then play him. He does not have to start over anyone. Find ways to get him on the field and get him the ball.

He does not even have to line up as the back. spread him out and give him short passes, screens, whatever. Why not two back sets and use him as a decoy or maybe just give him the **** ball.

Too talented to sit behind another RB just for the sake of sitting. Find a way to use him. If you can create a package for Tate then why not....

Get your talent the ball and stop saving them like they are special treats
