Lingard and coach’s lack of communication

-Tua came fresh off the bench down 20 at half to win a Nat’l Championship as a True Fr.
-Trevor Lawrence just methodically picked apart a defense some claimed as a top 10 all time for a National Title as a True Fr.
-Sam Howell just started his career 2-0 against two P5 opponents, including leading a 4th qtr come back against us, to start the season.
-****, USC's 3rd string QB who hadn't thrown a ball since his freshman yr of high school, just popped off the bench and beat a top 10 team!

We’ve heard, ‘well Manny is a 1st yr coach, that’s y we’re struggling.
-Chris Petersen’s first yr he went 13-0
-Fisher went 10-4 first yr
-Eli Drinkwitz has started 3-0 at App St including JUST beating a P5 school, the school we lost to.
-Rod Carey went 12-2 in his 1st yr, is now at Temple, and just beat a P5 team
-Ryan Day is now 7-0 to start his coaching career, and he’s 3-0 this season w a new QB

We’ve heard, ‘well the team is full of divas, that’s y we can’t win.’
-UGA
-Bama
-Clemson
-LSU
-OSU
-Oklahoma
-Texas
-PSU
All of them have way higher profiled recruits than us, and are winning w no issues

We’ve heard ‘it’s our lack of talent, that’s why we’re losing.
-We’ve out recruited EVERYONE in the Coastal and dang near everyone in the ACC w the exception of Clemson & FSU
-We’ve out recruited Wisconsin, yet we got smashed twice by them.
-We’re out recruiting UVA, yet we couldn’t score 17 points on them.
-We’ve out recruited Boise St
-We’ve out recruited Utah
-We’ve out recruited KSU
-We’ve out recruited Iowa
And all those teams are top 25

I swear I’m not trying to be on my hood down tip, but some of these mofos got excuses to explain excuses. Excuses are tools of the incompetence, and no, I didn’t expect Manny to be some world beater, but he decided to run his mouth to give us the feel he’ll be a world beater. Some things r excusable, but majority of this unexplainable, chit of a show that’s going on, is not.

One of the best posts I’ve ever read. Wish there was an argument to be made against it. The reality is that we are in the inexcusable disaster you described.
 
So if I understand correctly, Central Michigan, the last game we played, has been the first game he’s been cleared to play.

It is possible that for every example of success you posted, you can find five where it didn't.

But I get your point. Let's see where we end up this year. Hopefully we can get things going and put together a nice run.

My post was very simple and not emotional at all. My point is I never said anyone is a savior I said put him in the freaking game so we do t have our 5* RB transfer. It’s as simple as that, and every game he’s played he’s proven that he is gifted.

But where is our "positive outlier" 2006-? Where is our positive externality? We're just like the Dolphins, always mediocre but (according to the eternal optimists) just one player or one play away from a different season. People are tired of hearing the same coachspeak season after season with zero results to show.

I didn’t realize he had only been cleared for full contact just a couple of weeks ago.

So CMU was definitely the first game where he could have potentially seen any action.

Apparently he’s also still somewhat tentative on the leg.

Diaz from the article/radio:

“What we see is a guy who is getting more and more confident in his leg,” Diaz said of how Lingard looks in practice. “You are talking about a guy that has only been cleared for full contact two weeks ago.

“I think this week he might have done his first four plays of inside run drill. That is all part of it.”


First I’ve heard of any of this.

Correct. CMU was really the first game he was full go. Coach literally said he had his first inside run drills since being hurt just this last week. Yet it's some crime against humanity and indictment of Manny that we didn't bring him on that same week while we're in an unexpected dog fight against CMU with a very real chance of losing? And pops goes crying on social media threatening transfer? GTFO And yet it gets basically supported by 16 pages of the same sh-t here as well. smh
