Where were they the whole night? Everyone on here wants to blame the OT’s, QB, Enos, Manny, waterboy, trainers and probably the cheerleaders. Yet, the most veteran position on the team did very little to nothing the entire night.

Underwhelming and disappointing.

The same LB's that helped hold UF to less than 2 YPC? We talking about the same group? No, they didn't have 9 TFL's, 6 sacks, a pick 6 and 11 FF's last night but they were fine. The TD that MP gave up was just a good call by Mullen and good execution on the pic/rub.
 
The defense as a whole did their job. We weren't playing the way we will play next year with a true freshman QB. We focused on stopping the run and Feleipe and we did our jobs. Besides the first TD fluke and Gilbert/Carter miscommunication we were pretty **** good.
 
I'm glad they came back we are defnitely better with them, but they disappeared last night.

OVERATED IN THE COUNTRY....SHAQ US TOO SLOW ...IN THE NEW SPREAD OFFENSES HE IS NULLIFIED...and PICKNEY THE SAME

Im convinced most of yall watch football but don't actually know what you are seeing. Are the LBs elite? No and they have never been but that's fine. They are solid all acc type LBs. They way uf played didnt fit their style of play but they weren't bad.

I have been critical of our LB play, especially Shaq. I got roasted for calling him out for his 4 tackle games and making plays 6 yards down the field..

Having said that 52 yards on 27 carries would indicate that they did their job despite not making any highlight plays. Our LB play is serviceable but not great. I just wish people would stop acting our LB's are in the Brian Bozworth class. They are not.

They just don’t provide the advantage you think you would have with three senior 4 year starters at LB

How so?

Ballpark Frankfurter didnt really gash the D as he is known for. Neither did RBs (lomg eun notwithstanding).

Correct.

They arent nearly as overrated as B Boz was.
