Linebackers

They're mediocre, that's all. None are game changers. They haven't made any significant improvements since their freshman year. They will be forgotten in Canes history.

Dude, you sound ridiculous. If you were to rank this team’s issues that position would be dead last. By a gigantic margin.

They went into that game with a specific game plan, To stop the run and force Franks to his left where his accuracy is suspect.

They executed it perfectly. Their entire offensive output was a busted screen and one bomb.

Honestly, you have zero idea what you’re talking about.

UF had the worst run game they’ve had since 2015, but the Lb didn’t step up? Can someone point out who forced the fumbles last night and who recovered one? We look stupid as fans at this point lol. **** we look and sound stupid.
LBs didnt show out but they did their job last night for the most part. by the way LBs did not force either fumble...just thought i would point that out

They're low on the list of why we lost but it's still frustrating how they don't stand out. Just doing your jobs is not enough, especially from 3 four year starters. They still looked at the same, always 2 steps behind. That one play where Shaq left Perine to pressure Franks was inexcusable.

Was interesting watching the ACC Network with Richt and Beason and Beason pointing out on more than one occasion where he expected more out of the linebackers on certain plays, from making a tackle, to beating a blocker, to being in the wrong place pre-snap. They were solid and he wasn't making them out to be terrible, it was only a couple/few times, but it was noticeable to a viewer that a former Cane LB was expecting more out of 3 senior Cane LBs than he saw last night.

Side-note: Richt and Beason were amazing on ACC Network last night. I watched that feed instead of the regular game feed. They were goin crazy in there. I thought Richt was gonna pass out. lol
