Lincoln Riley

Hopefully you are getting personal thank you notes each week for the amount of defending of mario you do. Otherwise I am not sure how you explain such a devout adherence to acceptance of mediocrity.
are you talking to me?

Louisville is a more talented team than Miami.

This is silly...they do not have more talent and fired their coach after last season...their recruiting classes are nowhere near ours. Not even the staunchest of Louisville fans will say they are more talented.
Just stop with the excuses for Wario

Excuses for Wario? Did you read my earlier posts? I called him an abject failure, lol.

Caleb in this offense lol. Ok. He’s who he is because that’s what Riley does with qb’s. He just has atrocious defenses. That’s also who he is.

Nice fantasy though.
He's a ****** QB under Mario and this offense!!

I just want to say I called it and a few posters came at me for it. Don’t even want to bump it or search for the thread.

I knew USC had a culture problem and their situation is only a step above Colorado in terms of diva culture. You can’t win that way.

I hate Mario’s way too but it’s better than what Riley is running out there… you can’t win in college football without a culture, an identity, and some degree of physicality. The soft as ****, finesse, diva culture won’t win a thing. Riley is a total puss. He reminds me of Manny Diaz except on offense.

I didn’t even foresee them being this bad solely because of how good I thought Caleb Williams is and how good their scheme is and the level of the PAC12.

USC fans have every right to be mad at Riley for bringing the OU D coordinator with him in the first place and then when he didn't fire him after how bad the D was last season... What a waste of such a talented QB

No defensive coordinator worth a **** will ever coach with a tempo air raid coach. I've said this ad nauseam.

That style of offense kills both the opponents defense AND yours because it leaves no time to rest.

This is why the coaches winning ships don't hire air raid-tempo coaches. You need balance. Mario idea of running the ball and slowing down the game, playing complimentary football, is the right way. The issue is HOW we slow down the game.

Look at Brohm today. You want your offense too play balanced like that.

My hot take is Caleb Williams is going to be a bad NFL QB
Caleb has no internal clock. Spoiled by Lincoln system. Been saying it since last year. He holds the ball way too **** long.

If he was on this team he would struggle mightily in this offense as Dawson route combos are mainly deep to intermediate vertical routes.

Hear me out...Riley has arguably the best QB in college football and they currently sit at 7-5. Now I am not defending Mario here, he definitely deserves the criticism he is getting, but what is Miami's record and what is our mood if Caleb Williams was the QB of this team?
Lincoln Riley about to be on hot seat real quick at USC if you look at usc 2024 schedule it’s loaded he needs to get the defense fixed asap and bring in a ace recruiter

GT and NCST are both wins…

FSU gets interesting…

UNC and this Loserville game the defense really lost more than anything

Would be fun to see Caleb come out with "F*ck Mario" on his nails 😂

******? No, but nowhere near what he is under LR. Riley uses space , big throwing windows and is in another stratosphere with qb development. He makes everyone look good in his system.
Except for the defense which is the 50% (minimum) of the game like it or not.

If Caleb was the UM QB - Mario would still be running right into a well prepared wall of defenders - run after run, run after run.

We don't even need a QB with this system.

Just hike it to the RB who will run straight up the middle.

That's our game plan.

Not difficult to learn at all.
