Agree on Franklin. I put freeze in the same bucket as Kiff - whiz OC but not convinced he's a stud HC.

Just two weeks ago it was a forgone conclusion that Jumbo was leaving TAMU for LSU, until Jumbo completely squashed it...

IMO it feels like LSU is purposely leaking out false info making it seem like they’re getting all these big time coaches, but in reality I don’t think most of these top tier coaches really wanna go to LSU.

I think they’ll either have to settle for Franklin or Napier, I’d be shocked if Riley left the machine he’s maintained at Oklahoma to go to a program that doesn’t have a QB at all.

Maybe if LSU decides to just pay Lincoln Riley $10mill a year, but otherwise leaving Okla for LSU would be dumb IMO.

I think they’re going to set a record salary in next hire. Could see then offering 10 m to get Lincoln Riley.

LSU should grab Gundy instead of throwing everything at a jimbo or Lincoln type imo

25 million dollar buyout for Riley at Oklahoma, plus 17 mil for Ed Os buyout, plus 10-11 million salary minimum for Riley... I know they have money but that would essentially cost 50+ million to get Riley. If going to pay that much, they should just clone Bear Bryant.

How Franklin overrated after what he did at Vandy? Penn St. is a top 20 program and that's it. Also, he's 2-1 in NY6 Bowl games.
