$EC west (at that point) would have: Saban, Riley. Fisher, Kiffin
Nasty. Not including Pittman, Harsin, etc.
Saban would move to the East and ruin things for UF. They'd be in third place perennially.$EC west (at that point) would have: Saban, Riley. Fisher, Kiffin

I meant currently. Not even including the additionsHas it been decided on SEC west/east for OU/Texas? Cause I would think OU to the East would be the move if they wanted to even know things out some ..
Chasing a title I would agree. I think LSU is a way better job though.I don't understand leaving Oklahoma right before they go to the SEC for another SEC job. Seems like a better job than LSU anyway especially if he wants to win a title before joining the conference.
I think there was talk about doing 4-team pods rather than two divisions:Has it been decided on SEC west/east for OU/Texas? Cause I would think OU to the East would be the move if they wanted to even know things out some ..
And you bring all your own recruits to be in the same conference. Hit the ground running. Makes no sense. Oklahoma is as storied a program as LSU, IMO.I don't understand leaving Oklahoma right before they go to the SEC for another SEC job. I'm sure Tennessee would LOVE this.I think there was talk about doing 4-team pods rather than two divisions:
Pod A: Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina
Pod B: Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
Pod C: LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M
Pod D: Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma
Maybe I'm severely overrating Oklahoma but idk. I've always viewed them as a destination up there with Alabama, Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame. Money, power, tradition.Chasing a title I would agree. I think LSU is a way better job though.
Oh they up there without a doubt. For sure. I know I think higher of LSU than most.Maybe I'm severely overrating Oklahoma but idk. I've always viewed them as a destination up there with Alabama, Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame. Money, power, tradition.
LSU just seems to be a tier down in the FSU, UF, Tennessee, category. Money and tradition are there but it seems to take lightning in a bottle. Lots of highs and lows. Texas is probably falling into this category too.
