Likely scenario at OC that no one is bringing up

No one someone with Enos' ego is going to take the demotion—and what do you do, cut his salary from that reported $1.2M to 1.5M and just pay him to work with quarterbacks?

Dude was hired to coach quarterbacks (where he's been average) and run an offense (where he's been sub-par).

A demotion for this clown to do half the job and then bringing in someone else to do the other half seems like overkill.

Find someone competent to do both, or bring in someone else to directly work with quarterbacks as Enos ain't taking a demotion like that; ego too out of control.
I agree with you. But my post wasn’t about what I want; it was a scenario I could see happening.

By the way, didn’t LSU just do something similar to this when they brought in Brady? I know it’s not exactly the same, but why so far fetched for us if they did it?

AD James, and the rest of the powers that be, DON'T have it in them to envision Miami becoming ELITE, again, in major college football. Recent glaring stark example. The hiring of Diaz!

He'd say well just fire me then.

Coaches contracts are guaranteed, he's getting paid whether he coaches or not.

I understand why you're trying to come up with a scenario to explain away the insanity of what's happening, but the truth is staring everybody in the face... Enox is not getting fired.

There's no secret plan, Diaz isn't waiting until after NSD, he's not keeping him on just for the Bowl game, he's simply not going to fire him because he doesn't believe anything's wrong.

Go listen to Diaz's interview, all he did was make excuses about being young on offense & it being on the OL, what does that tell you? It's an indication that he has no intention of making changes because he's clinging to the youth excuse, what he's basically saying is because we're still young it excuses how bad we played, therefore with a year of experience we should be much better next year. Which means expect the status quo, no changes will be made.

Diaz is not conceding that he was wrong & that he's failed miserably, that's why no ones getting fired, if he fired anybody it would be an acknowledgment that he fúcked up & he's not doing that until he feels pressure from the AD, which isn't going to happen because the AD is a blathering idiot who's perfectly content with Miami being a hapless Football program.
I don’t think he is either. And that’s my point. I think Diaz would rather keep him but still try to make changes then fire him. Which is stupid, but it is what it is.

Diaz THROWING HIS PLAYERS UNDER THE proverbial BUS, is all U need to know about him, and Enos and Baker to a lesser degree!

The bottom line is Diaz, Enos, and Baker absolutely KNOW they was OUT COACHED by an over the hill HC, but lay the blame on the players.

That's what I'm trying to tell you, there will be no changes...

He's not getting rid of Enox until his job is on the line & his job isn't going to be on the line because the AD is a moron & the BOT doesn't give AF.

Diaz's job is safe, so Enox's job is safe. You'll start seeing firings happen when the administration/money men feel bothered about having to do some work & we all know they'd rather do anything else than that.

We are already paying for 4 coordinator contracts!!!! Paying for 5 would be a dumb move! But would not surprise me hahahaha *** this admin and **** product

You and I have vastly different opinions of what "likely" means.

There isn't a snowball's chance in **** of this happening. Zero.
More likely than Enos being canned completely.

In order of likelihood:

1) No changes
2) Position coach changes
3) Enos demotion
4) Enos fired

He would accept one if he’s got no other options. No one is going to be banging down the door to hire a guy who finished dead last in 3rd down conversion rate last season. Manure might give him an ultimatum by saying take a pay cut and demotion or be unemployed. Again not saying he would, but could see it happening.

He’s better off not taking a pay cut and getting fired. He’d be owed his buyout.

We listened to this for 3 years under Richt. I can't believe Diaz doesn't see this. He was the one who suffered the most under MR and now he is doing it to himself. At least taggert tried something different after year 1 and showed modest improvement.

Also, a handful of head coaches across the nation have already fired their OC's.
