He'd say well just fire me then.
Coaches contracts are guaranteed, he's getting paid whether he coaches or not.
I understand why you're trying to come up with a scenario to explain away the insanity of what's happening, but the truth is staring everybody in the face... Enox is not getting fired.
There's no secret plan, Diaz isn't waiting until after NSD, he's not keeping him on just for the Bowl game, he's simply not going to fire him because he doesn't believe anything's wrong.
Go listen to Diaz's interview, all he did was make excuses about being young on offense & it being on the OL, what does that tell you? It's an indication that he has no intention of making changes because he's clinging to the youth excuse, what he's basically saying is because we're still young it excuses how bad we played, therefore with a year of experience we should be much better next year. Which means expect the status quo, no changes will be made.
Diaz is not conceding that he was wrong & that he's failed miserably, that's why no ones getting fired, if he fired anybody it would be an acknowledgment that he fúcked up & he's not doing that until he feels pressure from the AD, which isn't going to happen because the AD is a blathering idiot who's perfectly content with Miami being a hapless Football program.
