He was QUICK

Excited to see him in 3rd down packages rushing the QB

Yeah, I remember that play. Lightfoot has speed, no doubt. He needs to add size and strength. He is light in the pockets. Purely a speed rusher at this point but that's enough when you combine him with monsters such as Bain, Blount and Lowe.

Fine by me. Brian Burns was a terror and maybe 220 MAX in college. You can't teach his first step. He is in rightful spot on the 2nd team D end rotation.

That play definitely stood out to me because when Carr tried to stop and fake him out for a quick sec, Lightfoot stopped on a dime with him. Unlike our big boy who was chasing Carr on that TD pass and slipping and sliding everywhere due to Carr running around like a **** headless chicken lol

I’m not sure how much size he can actually add while he’s in college. It’s not a Moss situation before people start saying that weird **** again. That kid had something mentally blocking him

Lightfoot is just a small frame. So I agree I’d just make sure he keeps what he has above everything. He’s never gonna be Bain on the edge so don’t make him by adding weight and losing that quickness

What you saw on the last series was optimum. Bain, Mesidor, Blount and Lightfoot on obvious passing downs. Bain and Mesidor on one side looks unblockable. Blount also collapsed the pocket as well. Lightfoot one on one is going to be a huge problem for any tackle.

Bain and Mesidor on the same side. Bain Wide 9, Mesidor I think as a 3T. Then Lightfoot on the other side. You know you’re getting one on one with those 2 animals on their side. Let a totally fresh Lightfoot run circles around a gassed LT.

I’m really looking forward to how we defend Castellanos. Lightfoot is a kid who has the quicks to keep him contained.
