Lightfoot personal foul video

The hit on the QB after the fumble recovery by Wilson was never shown on TV because it seems they didn’t get a clip of it as the camera moved with Wilson running for the TD.

I've seen it ever since Miami joined the ACC. ACC refs often flag Miami for nothing more than blocking and tackling too hard. Clean hits that are still deemed as "too violent"
 
This one we don’t see what happens after. Obviously there’s nothing shown that warrants a flag here in any way. But.. the Toney OPI was criminal. In no way was that OPI. Taking away one of the greatest catches of the season. If anything it was defensive pass interference. That’s what I though it was going to be.

For the life of me, I do not understand why a bigger deal isn't publicly made about bad calls. It doesn't matter how much technology has advanced. They can get **** wrong, and nothing happens.

It was after possesion or we wouldn't have been awarded the ball. Never saw the video of the infraction.
 
My understanding, and I was at the game, but this is what I was told there - because when the play happened, I was following the runner with a fumble streaking into the end zone - the deal was apparently Lightfoot blocked the quarterback because QB got up and started to run to try to chase the runner. I had a few people tell me this. I wish I could find the video.

… there’s the proof exactly what I said. Watch the play and cycle it back-and-forth you’ll see the quarterback has already gotten up and was trying to chase the runner down. He was a live target. FAFO GABOS

It was not a blindside block watch the tape. He was slightly in front and to his side, he hit him on the QB’s front right shoulder.. the ref may have called it a blindside block, I don’t know what exactly they called it other than unsportsmanlike conduct, but it was definitely not a blindside block

They're going to protect the QB and punish guys going after people. I'm not saying it's right but it's such a dumb thing to do. This was Central Michigan but if you do that against Notre Dame or in another close game and you take a TD off the board...man.
