Lightfoot #12

Lightfoot is really a different type of athlete out there, look at him jamming Jeremiah smith out wide and then making the tackle for loss. He’s been making a bunch of plays this year and primed for a great year next season

That NASCAR package has been great for us this year. When you can get four legit DEs on the field at 1 time but still maintain some protection against the run, that is a game changer.

The fact that 12 has the athletic ability to drop on into coverage just makes it more flexible.

That was an impressive play. He really did have an impactful night.

Something clicked with him the last 3 games. Hes been incredible in the playoff. I watched an all22 review of a few of his reps vs aTm and his bend was elite. He was everywhere vs Taint
Yeah he’s showed flashes during the regular season but turned it up a notch even more recently. Still a very young player so that’s expected. First season with real game action

I know we are all worried about him holding up on run downs next year, but there aren't many defensive weapons as versatile as Lightfoot in college football. He went from jamming the best WR in the land then tackling a RB catching a pass for a loss, to lining up inside on the final OSU play and rushing Sayin into throwing an INT. I cannot wait to see this guy play 40+ snaps a game next year.
