These faquit refs are the sole reason that I couldn't give 2 ***** if anyone on these north Carolina teams were to somehow accidentally have their knee shoved up through their stomach when miami plays them.
I've never seen anything as blatant as this year's fck jobs from the refs.
The overturn on that Carter tip pick never gets made against anyone else ever because there was nothing conclusive. That's the definition of inconclusive.
They didn't even bother looking at that fumble Corn scooped up.
Teams have figured out how to stop our pass rush completely ever since the UNC game. Just go ahead and blatantly hold on every pass.
I was in the stands for the UNC game, and I never re-watched it even though I had recorded it (too painful).
But I remember one specific play, I believe it was in the first half, when a D lineman from Miami had beat his man and was headed towards the QB, and the UNC OLineman ran up behind him wrapped his arms around him, and tackled him to the ground. The hold was so obvious, it was easy to see from the stands. Holds, most times, you don't actually see them from the stands. This one was so obvious you could. Everyone around me was groaning. And they never even came close to calling that. It is the worst most obvious hold I've ever seen. I wonder if anybody else remembers that one
Its been this way since we joined the ACC. No ACC ref will call holding on any ACC team that UM is playing. They simply will not do it.
The tobacco road teams get preferential treatment in every single sport. Its beyond obvious.
Missed a targeting on Njoku in the 3rd quarter.
I really just can't believe this aspect. This is the worst and most consistent holding I've ever seen. I mean, some of the plays look absurd. The Mccloud play was incredible.I've never seen anything as blatant as this year's fck jobs from the refs.

There was one play where McCloud blitzed and got hog-tied.
Egregious. I hope UM is making a movie of all the missed holds and having a meeting with the ACC at the end of the season. They need to straighten that obvious bias out. They didn't have anything compelling to overturn that egregious error. Yet the overturned the Carter tip where it didn't meet the standard to overturn a call. Obvious bias.the spot on the fake punt was brutal not even close even with review
Carter was out of bounds.
Never saw a slow mo replay of the strip, but think his knee was down.
I do think the fake punt was short, but no good angle for it to be overturned
AR did get mugged in the endzone. Should have been PI

Jimmy had a quote about the refs back then. We gotta start putting these teams away early bc we're never going to get any breaks in the ACC. It's just to be expected. Not even worth complaining about anymore. We already know what it is.

The possible PI on Richards was iffy bc the DB definitely turned his head in time

You can't mug a guy just because you turn your head.
Agree with OP. Will only add that this is decades old now. We've had at least TWO national titles taken from us by officials - South Bend in '88 where "The goal line caused a fumble" and against OSU where the entire game we had either no calls or questionable calls, not just on the decisive pass break up. Last year at Duke, the Blue Devils moved the ball down the field 45 yards without completing a single successful pass attempt - all on back-to-back pass interference calls, and then their so-called TD was signaled by a line judge who couldn't even see the play because their were players blocking his view. Don't even get me started talking about how **** poor commentary is whenever we play.

He lassoed him rodeo style, and the ref was staring right at the play.
