Wisconsin or another school offers AG and he accepts. Are Blake James and the BOT paying attention? Are they doing the work behind the scenes now so the UM doesn't get screwed in all of this when AG accepts (if he accepts)?

Are they talking now to Schiano, Davis (our favorites), and others (their favorites) so that the deal can get done quickly and the new coach can start immediately shoring up the recruiting class?

Man, I hope so. I sure hope they don't get stuck with their hands in their pockets out of a sense of loyalty to their current coach, and we end up with a scrub head coach or some interim title. Please please please let them be smart and aggressive with this.

The answer to your question is no. We are the only dumbasses who think he might be leaving. Look around at the other forums, there is barely a whisper about this Wisconsin crap. Apparently, Golden thinks he has something to prove...that he was the right man for the job. He doesn't give a **** that we despise the very sight of him.

As such, Blake James, the biggest slurper of all, wouldn't dare dream of thinking of people to replace Al.

The margin wasn't even close compared to other candidates. My friend and co-worker is a former Badger and I asked who we wanted and he said UNEQUIVOCALLY AL M'FIN GOLDEN. I asked him why, since he knows I'm a Canes fan, and his exact words were...."He uses his style down in Wisconsin and we're instant winners. He knows Big 10 football and we need a true Big 10 guy who understands the culture of Big 10 football. That's a lot of fans sentiment regarding Golden up in Wisconsin.

Blake and the admin won't do **** IMO. They welcomed him back with open arms when he left for a few days during the height of recruiting season. Then try and tell us how committed Golden is to the program.

A lot of the names discussed here. Jedd Fisch was the top name last year followed with guys like Pat Narduzzi, Chad Morris, Rod Chuzinski, and Butch Davis on it as well.

Thank you. As soon as any school offers Golden, he's gone. I'm hearing, "well if he didn't want to be here, he wouldn't be recruiting." Ummmm, has anyone ever applied for another job somewhere else? If you have, you know that you still do your current job until the new job comes knocking at your door. Golden is doing his job. Look at his smile in the photo ops....they are so half-@$$ed. He doesn't want to be here and, believe it or not...we do have a rep of being a stop and go spot for coaches and that our gig is not the greatest coaching gig in the world. Al's a politician w/ Pillars, a Binder, and sooth-saying tongue. He can easily spin the cloud and get a new gig.

I voted and trolled too, trust me...but all I'm saying is that Alvarez has an affinity w/ Golden and some in the BIG 10 arena thinks Golden is a super bright guy that's getting a raw deal w/ us. Golden is a BIG 10 guy forced in the landscape of So. Fla football. I already told you my co-worker, who's a former badger, said he wanted al golden as the coach and some others feel the same way. that came from one horse mouth who follows slow *** badger's football religiously and is a donor to the school. Will Golden get the job? Meh...but don't dismiss Alvarez's affinity w/ this chump.
