1 BCC 22
2 TOL 6
3 DUKE 11
4 FSU 27
5 GTECH 20
6 CUSE 21
7 NC 24
8 VTECH 25

10 UVA 35

Stats pulled from here: https://stats.ncaa.org/rankings/change_sport_year_div

So for 10 games the offense performed plenty good enough to get the national rankings you see posted. If you'll remember a Hurricane ****ed up out schedule and we didn't have a bye week for the rest of the year AND major injuries to our best players on offense added up as the year progressed.

So how is it we have an offense performing at that level for 10 weeks?

Obviously the talking points that gather steam as losses add up like archaic plays or 4 play playbook are ridiculous.

What do you think contributed the most to the struggling O?

Terrible QB play and injuries is my opinion.

As proven this season the +13 turnover margin in 2017 is the reason. Without those extra possessions that our defense creates our offense is what you see today. This season we only have a +3

More ridiculous is trying to reduce it to Terrible QB play and injuries.

QB play was bad in 2017; it is just that Miami hit on the big plays that were missing from 2018. The OL struggles were also there in 2017. The streaky barely 50% QB play was there in 2017; the limited playbook … yup there in 2017 and there were many fans/posters who yelled about it in 2017.

There was not a single 2017 loss that can reasonably be attributed to injuries.

Pitt.

We also beat Wisky at full strength.

We don't need explosive plays though

Our offense even during that win streak last year was inefficient at best as they had horrible troubles with 3rd down conversions. We were very feast or famine but tbh that fits Miami better than trying to be a slow methodical offense like we were this year trying to run the ball and shorten the game....

In 2017 in acc play
Miami had 15 tds of 20 yards or more

In 2018 in acc play
Miami only had 6 tds of 20 yards or more

that’s a problem and when your coach say “we don’t need explosive plays we just need to execute” that’s just inexcusable period.....

-Did you know the last time we passed for over 300 yards was game 7 of last year vs unc?

- in 2018 we had exactly one game over 225 yards passing which was the first game of the season with malik rosier .... wtf....

- only 4 games with a qb over 200 yards passing with all of them coming in the first 5 games of the season.

- the rest of the 8 games a Miami qb had 175 yards or less passing . That’s ******* pathetic

- worst performance of them all in the final game 6-24 54 yards.

Richt tried hard to forcefully to established the run **** near every game and it put the offense in bad situations and the passing game could never get going in any game other than the first game of the season(barely) because of it...

I’ve never seen Miami’s passing game attack as bad as it was this year. It’s crazy because even with how bad previous teams were with Golden we were never THAT bad, even in the previous 2 years we were far better than that. And that’s even with JUST MALIK Rosier in 2017

I hear you, but no, not even Pitt. Pitt was prepared to beat Miami and Miami was NOT prepared to win (COACHING!)

Herndon, Richards (who had been out before that) … Miami lost because Pitt realized that the offense had no foundation.
Fully healthy I think We beat Wisconsin.

That game was 30-24 or so with 11 minutes left in the 4th quarter without Ahmmon Richards and Chris Herndon. We win that game with them regardless of the fact of how sh*tty the defense played

Mark Walton also out.

We lost our biggest playmakers on offense, all of them, over the course of the 2017 season Very bad luck. One loss at full strength.

More lame *** excuses...

You don't even realize your cherry picking stats are actually arguing against you. As the competition got tougher & Defenses got more film, the offense performed worse.

Just do me favor & come up with something more creative in 2019 then just blaming the weather & injuries. You excuse makers have been slacking, same old excuses for 3 years in a row, in year 4 you ****heads ought to have come up with something a little more entertaining by now.

We slaughter them if a DB turns his head around one time
