Let's be real........Miami football is done

But will this board live on?
One could say it has followed the same arc as the team as of late.

So the answer is that both will go on and exist, having been left in their current state by gross mismanagement, never again achieving their previous success.

20 posts makes me a troll over 8 years, wow! Posting privileges? if you're smart enough just configure your settings to not see my 2.5 posts a year. In addition, my apologies to you for not calling you any derogatory names. It's obvious that you need counseling or message board anger therapy. Take care.
If this is what you think anger looks like, I'm not sure how you get through the day.

It's not.

Look at Alabama before they hired Saban. Or Clemson before they hired Dabo.

It's never done, but it takes a committed President and a competent AD to turn things around, and quickly. It's in a down period right now for sure, but I think things get considerably better the moment Blake and Strawley are gone.

Well said.

Miami Athletics aren't on the schools agenda.
Winning isn't a topic or subject at the U.
We hired Manny Diaz to be our coach after Wisconsin ran it through our *** last year over and over.
Jarren and N'Kosi just don't care because our coaches convinced them Miami is rebuilding and losing to teams like GT, FIU, NC, and VT are apart of the process.
Recruiting smarter athletes who can't run helps our graduation rate. W's don't matter if we're graduating.
Manny will increase attendance since he's local. His daddy is a former mayor. His personal story outweighs his ****** defense or clueleas face on the sidelines.
Watch the qb who lost to FIU be given the starter job before spring practice.
The OL will be worse.
The worst play caller since Patrick Nix will be on the sidelines.
The worst DC since D'No will still give up 4th and 17 or 3rd and 19s with easy runs up the middle or flat out pitch and catch.
Manny will look lifeless and should never open his raggedy mouth. Sounds like he talks with candy in his mouth.
Blake James will never be fired. He'll be forced out due to bad health. 2040 probably! He's the culprit or root cause of seeing constant diarrhea on the field.

Points well taken.

I rather have Golden back than this **** show.

How do we manage to get worser - and worser - and worser - and worser?

Even Golden beat UF.

U always keep it real. Bags and a school that gives a **** about football is a winning formula.

Yup. And those schools all have big alumni bases that aren't afraid to write fat checks to make **** happen.

Georgia just pumped $200M into their program and raised around $30M in 2018 with 1,100+ new members to their Magill Society—at a minimum of $25K per-click. They also have a $7M annual recruiting budget in Athens and a $13M salary for that coaching staff, mostly due to what big money fans pump into that program.

Meanwhile we have people in this site who tired raise $495 to fly a banner saying that the AD sucks—and needed to toss in $40 more of their own money to get the campaign over the hump ... so said banner could fly over a 2/3 full stadium, where half those fans are still wearing old Nike gear.

Welcome to the problems with having a fan base made up of mostly non-alum, who don't write checks—and simply check-out when the going gets rough ("Oye, bro—the HEAT are legit this year!!!").

These schools that give a f**k about football—they do so because they have a fan base that PROVES they give a f**k as well, but pumping millions of dollars into the program as a way of demanding excellence.

The day Miami fans start signing up for elite alumni groups in droves and start writing annual five- and six-figure checks—VOILA!—you'll see a bigger precedence put on football and winning; which will attract a big time AD and bigger time coach.

Until then, adidas money and ACC cash are fueling this thing—nothing more—which is why the athletic director and head coaching gigs are Miami are second-rant and not as desirable as dozens of other schools across the country.

The only way that will happen is for some group of boosters to assert their will. Handing a blank check to the likes of James/Strawley will only result in the next jackass getting a bigger contract and the rest going to every other sport. There's no confidence the money will be efficiently spent. Do you think people would have a problem paying more and getting results? The only reason the IPF got built is because it was clear and specific with someone credible pushing for it.

We've been on a breathing machine for 15+ years. FIU might've just pulled the plug.

DONE. OVER. FIN.

Butch Davis put us out of our misery, at the Orange Bowl site with a sh*tty FIU team.

Winning the coastal isn't over.....winning it all could be...
I beg to differ winning the coastal has been done once since 2005. If ACC checks were based on winning then you would see an admin moving mountains to win.
