I know I troll a lot but lets have a quick conversation.

This class is not horrible, bad, or good. It is stuck somewhere between great and excellent.

A lot of the disappointment from everyone derives from two things:
1. We lost some guys late
2. We didn't add anyone late

It is easy to point out the flaws and some of the misses, but this a very deep class.

We have a top 15 class that features:
The future QB of our program. Even if he doesn't turn out to be, we supposedly got one of those guys last year.
One of the top #10-15 RB's in the entire nation.
The future OT, OG, and Center of our O-line.
A nice JUCO TE that will spread the field
A coupe of WR's that add instant depth
A stud JUCO DT with a couple of guys that will contribute next year
Some athletic, playmaking hybrid ends that can rush and cover
A pure ILB that will grow into the position
A stud Safety with a couple of DB's that will be given time to develop

We still have a chance at a nice Spread QB and Mr. Jackson.

Just think, if we got Kaaya, or Yearby, or any of our OL to commit late, there would be little *****ing. People want the newest thing.

Did Golden miss on some things? Absolutely but that doesn't take away from the goodness of this class. This class compliments some of the depth we have been lacking.

/Oh yeah, LOL did not read.

Good class w/ holes. We'll pay for it on the field in the next few seasons...

Nah, Miami will pay for it on the field because of bad coaching. 2-3 classes of this overall talent level, while hitting positional needs of course, and a good coach would be contending for national titles.

im interested in hearing the excuses in a couple seasons when this group "underperforms"

will it still be a talent issue??

Only thing Golden has developed over the last three years is a pair of *******. This class is good but not even close to what it should be with the talent in So Fla and this state.

It's relative though. Had this not been such a deep year in South Florida it would be great, but considering how stacked SoFla was, it's a B-.

It ****es me off how cool Dwayne Johnson is and how pessimistic and *****y you are about golden all the time. Change your avatar

This class is legit, and yes there is a lot of talent in south florida, but FSU just won a national championship and we're not quite there yet. It isn't 2001 and just because someone lives close doesn't mean they are a solid lock to go to a school...any school.

You can't miss on nearly every blue chip offensive playmaker in your area, miss on the best DT prospect down here in a year of dire need, and have a class between excellent and great. What Joe said, too. If Yearby was the only blue chip RB down here, then OK. It's different. But it is what it is.
