We have no idea what's going to happen Sat. night? I didn't feel good Sat. so I taped the game and watched it last night. Wise decision.I'm not going to over react. That was our worse game kind of like Clemsons game against Syracuse. The difference is that we won. I just want to throw out a few thoughts to see how you guys feel. These thoughts are under the theme of uncertainty I began this with.
1. Can we win the next two with Rosier and is he the answer or just the best of limited options?
2. Defense. we all love Manny. Should we?
3. The fumble by Homer. Staff had to have told them that it was the only way we lose the game. How can you not be at the peak of concentration at that point of the game. Homer? , Rosier?

I think we can win Sat. night. We have equal or superior talent and home field advantage. What can kill us is over scheming which can create holes in our defense. Teams have successfully killed us in that. On defense line up in our base defense and see what happens. On offense their defense is going to load the box. They always do. Be prepared to see CMR run the ball time and time again even to a stacked box. That's ok. It just takes patience and we'll break some. They also disguise their coverage as well as anyone creating turnovers. Rosier needs to survey the field and accept throwing the ball into the ground or out of bounds on a regular basis thus avoiding negative plays. Walsh did that well. The key on offense is patience and execution every player every down.

Just some thoughts.

Both of Homer's career fumbles have been **** near perfect hat placement on the ball. Not excusing him, but man, you could not ask for better hits on the ball.

Please learn are QBs name. And most people don't know how to pronounce his name as well. Its not Ro-zeer its Ro-shure. And Yes anything can happen on Saturday which is why we play the game.

Homer was due to put one on the ground. His ball security had been outstanding all season, but all backs fumble eventually. It just happened at the worst possible time. That it came on a janky-looking I-formation play might not be much of a coincidence.

#2 . I love the aggression on defense, but I am concerned that he gets too aggressive at times, that's why we give up a lot of 3rd & long conversions and big runs.

Personally, I agree and would love to see dropping 7 and letting this monster front 4 just apply pressure on 3rd down (clog up that slant that teams execute very well against us)more often.

But this is just nitpicking as the results have been amazing.

Diaz may be over agressive on defense but I'm not sure he's not over compensating to help our DBs and Offense. We've needed every extra possession the defense has gotten our offense to be undefeated. I'll reserve judgment for Manny when he has some better depth and talent in the back end and a more consistent offense

honestly with all due respect I don't really care how you feel, I'm sure you "felt" like we were gonna blow UNC out, how'd that go?

Honesty isn't valued around here, but I haven't had a good feeling each week, simply because what I keep seeing week in and week out.

I want to believe this staff has some Satan dog in them somewhere where they simply refuse to keep accepting this squad's mediocre execution, but then it happens again, and I fear again that maybe the play calling and coaching is equally to blame.

I hope that the 5th or 6th time that Richt has said things need to change is the magic one. Its definitely not his style (for better or for worse), but he should be barking and screaming like a mad man this week getting a rise out of these kids.

i have an idea. we are going to slap these losers back to blacksburg. either ride with me or don't show up.

right.. where's that old school cane mentality that we the fans want the team to have, while we quivering with fear and our tails tucked as fans.. We dropping our nuts this week

Fumbles happen, I recall a late fumble vs BC in 2001 by Frank Gore at the end of the game that gave the ball back to the Eagles(and that drive led to the Rumph-Walters-Reed play).

I came to the concision during the middle of the Jackets game that I so know how every game will play out.

I will bank on having more than a couple of heart attack moments and more than a couple of yelling at my tv moments.
But when everything comes down to the nitty -gritty this team will find a way to win. They will never stop fighting.

This team just can't put people away. We get a blocked punt and we only get 3. Turnover after turnover and no points. **** sometimes we go 3 and out and put the defense right back on the field. Crazy that teams are running up 90+ plays against us. Yes, defense needs to be better on 3rd down but the offense does not take advantage of anything positive that the defense or special teams does.
