We have no idea what's going to happen Sat. night? I didn't feel good Sat. so I taped the game and watched it last night. Wise decision.I'm not going to over react. That was our worse game kind of like Clemsons game against Syracuse. The difference is that we won. I just want to throw out a few thoughts to see how you guys feel. These thoughts are under the theme of uncertainty I began this with.
1. Can we win the next two with Rosier and is he the answer or just the best of limited options?
2. Defense. we all love Manny. Should we?
3. The fumble by Homer. Staff had to have told them that it was the only way we lose the game. How can you not be at the peak of concentration at that point of the game. Homer? , Rosier?
I think we can win Sat. night. We have equal or superior talent and home field advantage. What can kill us is over scheming which can create holes in our defense. Teams have successfully killed us in that. On defense line up in our base defense and see what happens. On offense their defense is going to load the box. They always do. Be prepared to see CMR run the ball time and time again even to a stacked box. That's ok. It just takes patience and we'll break some. They also disguise their coverage as well as anyone creating turnovers. Rosier needs to survey the field and accept throwing the ball into the ground or out of bounds on a regular basis thus avoiding negative plays. Walsh did that well. The key on offense is patience and execution every player every down.
Just some thoughts.
