You sure Young is our #1 receiver? An argument could be made for Restrepo or George. Not trying to argue, just pointing out a thing a beauty.

Beard did a good job here before. Just because the HC is bad doesn't mean everyone else is bad. In terms of developing talent he is like that.

Yeah Im not so sure this is the one to pull receipts on man.

Beard was a retread from the Golden/Coley staff.

He recently spent 5 years at Toledo making like 100k. Youd think in a market where coaching salaries are skyrocketing, someone would have found him and paid him if he was such a hidden gem.

UM has one of the worst track records in recent memory of bad hiring and gravitating towards ex players which is annoying and short sighted as a hiring practice.

We were supposedly close to hiring Hankerson whose recent resume is terrific, so this may have felt like settling in the moment

WR’s in high school or portal were treating us like we had genetal warts. Beard wasnt highly known as a recruiting ace coming in with juice.

His group is doing great and he deserves a lot of credit. We were all fans of him as a player. But I have no problem if folks were skeptical of the hire when it happened.
