Let’s talk about James Williams

Thought he played alright, wat r yall talking about? He should still switch to ft LB though, he’s not playin a lick of safety in the NFL, and coaches are doing him a disservice for not getting him ready for what he’s gonna play if he makes it to the big league.

he can't control his own staff, the **** is he gonna do to players?

the most he did was give a nice tough talk speech about picking up your kids as a message to parents.

year 1 - hired a toxic staff, blamed players throughout, fired the staff

year 2 - threw don, his OC under the bus acting as if he couldn't go in there and a kneel down, his DC picks up a 15 yard ridiculous flag on a fourth down giving up a free first.

I saw multiple times last night where UNC receivers were uncovered and thankfully UNC ran the ball

I saw the same thing. Williams made a monster hit on the RB in the 1st quarter, but then stood in the end zone celebrating. He barely got back to the line. before UNC snapped the ball. Defense was still trying to get into position when UNC threw the ball for a big 1st down. Led to a TD later.

I see that as a coaching problem. Failure to discipline players. No matter how good the player is, he should be sat down for a few plays after such nonsense. If he doesn't learn self-discipline, then he loses the starting role. If he doesn't like it, there is always the portal.

During the ATM game he was on the sideline at the edge of the sideline box doing throat slashes and barking at someone across the field. A corch had to come over and tell him to stop.
