I told my TV for fifteen minutes straight “you do not get involved in an OT war with Trinidad Chambliss”How many of yall thought we’d play it safe at the end and go for 3 and send it to OT instead of going for a touchdown
This, needed to put the game away in regulation. Defense was beat to ****, and who knows what happens if we make it to OT.Not for a single second honestly
Not with how our defense was falling apart and our kicker missed a FG
Been on point the last two weeks. Calling the games we need versus the teams in front of us. Thought the wind crushed us against A&M.Dawson had himself a hèll of a game last night. Tip of the cap to our OC
Thanks to Drinky PeteThey were going for TD 100% so long as down + distance + time allowed.
Outside of that flea flicker I agree lolDawson had himself a hèll of a game last night. Tip of the cap to our OC
We should’ve ran it more, they couldn’t stop us. I understand wanting to be creative, but stick to what’s working.Dawson had himself a hèll of a game last night. Tip of the cap to our OC
honestly, that did not cross my mind for one secondHow many of yall thought we’d play it safe at the end and go for 3 and send it to OT instead of going for a touchdown
and against that defenseNo way was mario playing for OT against that offense and kicker.
While I don't think he was as bad last night as some posters have mentioned, I do think Dawson made some incredibly unnecessary and questionable play calls last night. About 3 plays into our first possession, I knew we brought it....and by brought it, I mean the physicality up front with the run game. Ole Miss was outmatched at the LOS. It is my opinion (and I'm not a coach, nor a play caller) that you run the ball down their throats until they stop you. I believe in the same concept applied to basketbal as well when the team keeps feeding the shooter with the hot hand - stick with what's working until the other team stops it.Dawson had himself a hèll of a game last night. Tip of the cap to our OC
and I was muttering over and over "don't turn it over, don't turn it over"I was muttering over and over "don't take a sack, don't take a sack"
