Less Mike Harley more freshman

He’s a really average player at most, there’s a reason why he’s been in college for 5 years.

Take your chances with the young explosive talent that appear to want to win more than the upperclassmen. Especially with Chaney out and **** poor run blocking, this would be a good time for Lashlee to stop with his RPO obsession and get Arroyo, X, and the Smiff twins on the field, and have King start slinging the ball without having to think about his RPO read. Harris is a good pass blocker so he still has a key role to play as well.

Super disappointed in Mallory and Harley. We already knew that Pope and Wiggins weren't going to contribute.
What on God’s green earth makes you think King can sling the ball around? He is a one read and panic QB.

Yeah the one thing we know about Harley is that he is good for one of these slumps but then he gets it in gear when we need him the most. Has happened the last 2 seasons. Cant sit him going into this stretch of important games unless he just completely implodes.

Mallory is all we have unfortunately. So he has no choice but to get it going or totally tank any chance at an NFL career. Its really on him. Throwing Arroyo out there is an option but we still need a 2nd TE which we dont have.

King's passing is off big time. He's throwing the ball either too far ahead or behind the receivers. And then the receivers are dropping the passes. Its all a mess.

Y'all are severely mistaken on Harley. The knock on Harley for his first few years was that he seemingly always makes the tough catches but wasn't consistent on the easy ones. He had more focus towards the end of last year and showed his true potential. He didn't "peak" in the 2nd half of last year, he just showed exactly who he was supposed to be when we recruited him.

other problem with our WRs is that our top 4-5 WRs are no heavier than 185.

Smith, though, is the best of the bunch - excited to see how he progresses.

Recency bias, in my opinion. The dude single handily won us some games last year. I agree that if he continues to struggle he should be benched, but for now, he should still be the starter. He’s earned the right to have a bad game.
Exactly, fair weather dudes willing to throw him away after one bad game where his performance was a FOR SURE by product of much bigger issues on our offense. Lashlee, the Oline, King, TE, RBs then the WRs in that order. No rhythm, no continuity, no juice, no strength, no urgency and of course other personnel groups will become affected. Restrepo also has 1 dropped pass in each of our two games.

Harley had 2 key drops..and was pulled. Fan favorite restrepo had a drop too..give him a pass tho..Mike had a key 3rd catch on that last drive..stop with the bull****

I think he shouldn’t be removed just yet. I think we need to clean up playcalling and someone teach our WRs (or anyone on our team really) how to block at all. We leave so many yards out there being totally unable to run a bubble screen even if we have a 2v1 advantage. If he drops more this game then yes bench him

I get where you are going with this but Harley is a 6th year, 24 year old player. Thats the equal to being a 3rd year NFL player. Our expectations of him will and should be absolutely higher. That said, anyone calling for him to be benched is just trying to keep the riot going way after everyone has laid down their picket signs and gone home.
