Les Miles

if FSU loses to Clemson and us this year on top of that Louisville performance, jimbo would be smart to jump ship and get a fresh start at another school before the pressure is on him next year to have a bounce back

Think this will happen . Herman aint going to LSU . If we leaves he is a Longhorn.

I think Jimbo goes to LSU, especially the way FSU is performing this year.
FSU will get Kiffin.
Les Miles to Texas, Georgia Tech, or Auburn or some ****.

The end of that game was crazy!

But, it was the right call... The game was over & I'm not sure the QB was behind the LOS when he threw the ball.

I don't think he was either.

Announcers did an awful job at the end. It was clear as day that they didn't get it off and they're like "but can you really tell". Awful.

Yeah, wtf was Rod dumbass Gilmore talking about? 0's on the clock prior to the snap (not reviewable btw), the wr wasn't even set even if they were to get the snap off, and the qb's feet were completely passed the los prior to throwing. Then you have the referees asking the booth for the save cause the ****ed up so bad. How is officiating so absolutely pathetic in this day and age.

The game clock is reviewable.

But, the announcers were idiots for claiming 'you couldn't tell'. The ball was clearly in the center's hands when the clock ran down to 0:00.

Upon review, what was the reason for reversing the ruling on the field?

There never was a play. The game was over.

Here's a question- if Les Miles had been available during the coaching search, would you have preferred him over Richt? Miles does have a ring, after all (which was the biggest criticism some of y'all had of CMR)

**** no. Les Miles is soft.

Thanks. Saw it, but volume wasn't at a level to hear it.

I was told just last week that the MNC's the strength coach has made all the difference in the world. They told me to look at LSU, well I'm looking but I'm not seeing.... lol

If Herman gets Houston into P5 he's not going anywhere for a while.

The Big12 is in need; Houston is in B12 territory and would give the B12 a huge face lift. I can see Houston getting and accepting the invite for next season.

What is Miami without a good QB? Miles sucks with the whole QB thing. I am BBB but take Mark over Miles. Can Miles recruit without someone giving recruits' daddies new cars?

LSU can't afford Herman...

Texas will give him upwards of 5-6mill a year, LSU is in dire financial straits, the buyout for Les will be expensive enough as is, they'll probably only give their next coach $3.75mill at most (That's Kirby's deal at UGA).

Texas & their boosters have an unlimited Warchest, I don't think there's a program in D1 that could outbid them, except maybe Bama or Michigan.

You are right that no one outbids Texas but don't let the fact that Louisiana got duped into electing a democratic governor make you think those oil boys don't have deep pockets...Mexico is about to derugulate gas and a large portion of our countries refining capacity sits in Louisiana...lsu just paid top dollar for Aranda and they will do it for a hc (and if they're smart an oc).

On an unrelated note I saw on ESPN the other day and twice in this thread, it's "champing at the bit." Just had to say it since apparently those who are paid to write can't be trusted.

Earlier poster said fsu will offer Herman 5-6 million. He'd laugh at that number. Easily could get 8 million from Texas. I don't think Florida taxpayers would be happy if school tried to pay 9 million for a head coach. On top of that, no one has deeper pockets than Texas. I heard Herman gets a massive raise if UH gets into Big12. So odds he goes to FSU seem low
