If this was a big game, his actions could’ve cost us big time. I get it, the holds that aren’t called ****es us off, so we can imagine how the players feel. But as you said, let the coaches handle that. They were going to be at 3rd and long. They got a free 1st down.

If this was a big game, his actions could’ve cost us big time. I get it, the holds that aren’t called ****es us off, so we can imagine how the players feel. But as you said, let the coaches handle that. They were about to punt in 4th and long. They got a free 1st down.

IIRC it was about to be 3rd and 16 from deep deep in their own territory but your point remains. It could have been a huge play, safety, most likely Ohio runs it and relies on their punter and we get great field position there. Backbreaking penalty against most of our schedule for sure

Just watch when Hill ghosted Manny after a dumb penalty then weht right back in. Manny knew he had to win games or else so benching a good player is counter productive.

When you have depth and talent you have the power as a coach. 1-2 more classes the culture will be set.

Moten looked HUGE out there. As wide as he is tall!

He was blatantly held on the play he got hit with the penalty. It was the same play they got called for holding near their own end zone (there were multiple holds on the play). It was a REALLY badly missed call on their end. The official was looking right at him too. Even the announcer said something about it.

I'm not justifying it AT ALL. He's not someone who usually does **** like this though. So he must've been ****ED.

You are correct! My mistake! Thank you. It was silly from LT, but I hope he and the rest learn from this.

Nonetheless, he wouldn’t have played many more snaps regardless.

Very encouraging sign. Yeah, he was getting held all night, but can’t do something stupid & hurt the team. Taylor will learn from it & sends a message to everyone else. Nice having roster depth where PT isn’t guaranteed.

During part of the game, I was watching our line play only, and they were holding like mother****ers. It was blatant. It’s been going on for years though against us. I don’t know why.

But the other thing they did was that there were two clearly late hits, on the Miami of Ohio sideline, where our guys get got tattooed out of bounds, and they were well out of bounds, and the refs didn’t even reach back for the hanky. I mean they were five or 10 yards out of bounds, and they got slammed to the ground or just flat out hit. We would’ve gotten ****ed on those plays if it had been us.

I think that’s why this class is very important and why we need to flip some recruits. We need to build on top of the foundation that was set last year, getting quality olineman to back up. Push the dudes ahead of them. Getting quality edge rushers and DT to push the young dudes. The 2023 class is an important building block, and a pivotal one, for the future of Miami football.

It way past holding. It's sleeper holds, outright just trying to tear jerseys off and refs just stand there like a statue.

Branson Deen was as advertised. He really hustles. Not flashy at all, but active guy. I thought Harrison-Hunte looked good, too.

I didn't pick up on Moten in the game and I haven't gone back to watch, but people are saying he looked nice. I'll assume thats true.

No world beaters, but its a group that can work. Saw Gore a little bit, too, and yeah, he's real small...but seems active.

Leonard Taylor needs to stop getting in his own way. He's a dawg. Time to stop acting like a puppy.
