I, too, recently purchased a headlamp. In my work, it is a vital necessity. I work as a miner, and every time I go down into a mine, I need a light to light my way. It is pitch black down in the mines, so a headlamp has to be good and strong. Without good lighting, there is nothing to do. I recently upgraded my lantern because the old one had worn out. I bought a great flashlight, which has served me well for almost half a year now. I think it is an essential purchase because my work is hazardous, and without a headlamp, there is nothing to do on this job.
