I trust Mario 100% as well. I’m hoping for some news today but either way I know we will be good at the start of next season.

Maybe I'm mistaken but doesn't the portal window close today for everyone except Miami and Indiana? Although I'm sure he has a backup plan, seems like a lot to coordinate in the next 18 hours if Leavitt tells Mario no.

That’s what I’m saying. If Leavitt is a no, seems like a lot to do to get a kid to commit to going in the portal in the next 18 hours. Unless MC is just going to have the kid go the Xavier Lucas route. I’m sure there is a lot going on behind the scenes and that Mario has things coordinated but just feels like a dangerous last minute game to play again.
 
The portal is open until the 16th to enter. I have literally posted 5 things from their camp from during his time on the LSU visit until he arrived here. I thought we had him and still will believe that through today. If it doesn't happen today, I am concerned. I haven't gotten anything since early Friday. Crickets on that end.

Ehh I don't trust the staff, Dawson in particular, to identify under the radar QB talent like Chambliss. They target more finished products, Cam and Beck, than guys with intagibles/upside that someone like Lane specializes in. That's why getting Leavitt is important...for us anyways.

LOL, the guy from On3 should read The Warmth of the Other Suns before making such a incorrect assumption. Those Louisiana ties run deep in the Los Angeles communities most likely to produce D1 football prospects
