Sam Leavitt To Sign With Lane Kiffin & LSU

The answer is obvious and has been staring us in the face all along.

All Miami needs to do is fabricate and back-date some medical reports and we can sign Trinidad Chambliss.

I'm only half-joking. Think about it, it could work for us.

Ironically, there are more posters on the LSU 247 threads that don’t want Leavitt than want him. They prefer Longstreet and the kid who just committed. concerns are same as ours…

i'd want longstreet too if I was in their shoes. they arent a leavitt away from competing next season. so the extremely talented kid that's got more years available seems like the better option for them

We also should have Longstreet in for a visit. If only to drive his cost up as well. Dont just concede him to Lane
that's just not a realistic thing when you're also managing your current roster

we have nickel and Coleman on campus, hard enough for them to see senior qb's come in and take their jobs. hosting zero experience qb's just like them would create unnecessary problems

Those guys are both mediocre. Would not care about losing them

If Emory and Judd arent worthy of enough consideration to not upgrade your team not sure why we would defer to Nickel and Coleman. Bring in Husan as the guy. If the other guys beat him out so be it.

It defeats the point

We’re only bringing in Leavitt or Simpson because we KNOW they are the best out there

how do we know Longstreet is better than Coleman or nickel?

We know Mali is better than Coleman at passing. Coleman is not ready for 3 years if ever. Dude has the frame of a refugee. I dont get annoyed at HS QB recruiting anymore because I just see them as camp and scout team arms. We went hella cheap for both. Nickel seems to be replacement level pretty easily.

I like the idea of the Poffenbarger lower division backup insurance policy QB with the longshot upside of the guy having a Trinidad Chambliss pop off.

If that's the case than Coleman and Nickel never should have been recruited. Everything we have seen from Emory in actual games has been awful. He didn't even look against Bethune Cookman and his 2nd half against Iowa State was some of the worst QB play we have ever seen in Canes history.
Is Coleman even on campus yet ? Why say he shouldn’t have been recruited ?
