On the salary cap topic, it’s my opinion that this doesn’t need to be a program cap. This needs to be a per player cap. If you cap it that no player can make more than $2mil you won’t have players jumping for paydays if they are already at the max, you also won’t have issues like this where a player is using programs to up the payday. If he had all $2mil offers he would be forced to commit to a program and not a payday.
You’ll open the door back up to Bama, UGA and similar paying additional amounts under the table to outbid us that way.

That only helps the SEC as they will pay guys under the table. Others will find ways to get them endorsements
