My concern is we were told this was a done deal yesterday afternoon, hope we hear something tonight or concerns get larger.

Negotiation tactic. Miami knows how this game is played obviously, so I expect that they gave him a desired deadline so there would be no dramatics on game week. Not a deadline that’s make or break, but more of a common courtesy type I think it’s wrapped up no later than mid day tomorrow if not already done tonight with a 6:45pm bat signal

An Auburn fan told me this, hence I was told. It was passed along to him and he was miffed by it so he shared it with another group. Could be wrong but he was told how a kid wanted to sign right there on the spot and they had to tell him no.
