What did I present as fact? I never said Leavitt WAS leveraging LSU and Miami against each other. Was just saying we had to be willing to walk away if that's what he decided to do.

At some point you have to be able to walk away from a deal. He can come back once to renegotiate but he can't keep using LSU and Miami for leverage against each other. He asked for an offer we made it. Then LSU upped their offer. We can match that and he can take it or leave it. But you can't let him keep going back and forth to get better offers.

Second sentence in your original post is conjecture at best, but the third sentence is a factual statement. One that you say was informed by another poster saying "his number was $4mil" and then you follow with a lot of assumptions.

It will come down to money, both LSU and Miami are good destinations although my biased opinion we are a better one right now.

We were getting a qb if we missed the playoffs. 20 million later, we'll get who we want.
