It continues to amaze me that people on this board have to say something is completely wrong or coach/player sucks or the complete opposite. Instead of the reality that it’s somewhere in the middle.

Lane overachieved this year. Fact. He dealt with a ton of injuries and had an awful stretch of like 9 straight games without a bye. That’s tough. I believe only TCU had a stretch like that. He completely retooled his offense bc they couldn’t do what he wants to do. Is he an elite HC? No. But he’s far better than most coaches out there.

They hold other coaches to a much higher standard than our own.
