Leach is the answer

Offer him a base salary of $1 mil and $4 mil in potential incentives per year. See how much he realllllly wants to come "home". Hire/poach a DC at $2mil per year.

Not sure the S. FL kids could handle him being hard on them and he be able to coddle them. Love him but just don’t see the culture fit at all.

I dont think we'd argue with JJ's results down here. He had a similar no-nonsense approach.

The guy just won 11 games at Washington State.

We need Leach.

2x Pac 12 coach of the year
1x Big XII coach of the year

Only Nick Saban and Urban Meyer And Leach have won 11 games at two different power 5 programs.

The guy always does more with less. Our problem is we always do less with more. He is the solution guys and I think he would be perfect for us.

And this crap about how he doesn’t coach defense is a straight up lie. Go look at his defensive rankings the past 4 years. Sacks, turnovers, total defense, passing defense, rush defense all are good if not great.

We gotta bring the Pirate to Coral Gables.
Yes yes and yes again. Don’t think it will happen but he would blow it up at Miami

Those kids were tougher and not social media whores looking for gratification at every turn when things aren’t so rosy. Different time my friend.

Oh I agree, and I have zero doubt if there were a coach that would implement a SM ban, it'd be the Pirate.

part of me would love to see what kiffin could do here, just for the lulz.
There would definitely be no middle ground with it lol

He'd either recruit like a beast and have a high flying offense, or it would be an utter 6 win a year failure

He’s spent almost 16 years at bad schools hovering around 9 wins, having top 10 offenses, and producing an enormous coaching tree of guys he’s groomed.

He’d do very well at Miami. Kids would be excited to play in this offense.

Lol if you think S.Fl kids can't handle hard coaching...

In what way? He's heavily backed by Trump, which doesn't go well with the households he'd have to recruit in.
BS. Kids want to play exciting football and make plays. ****, let’s hire Obama then. I’m sure he’d clean up in recruiting. Take your political nonsense elsewhere. If Leach brought Trump along on his in home visit the kid would be so star struck he’d sign ASAP. Kids are impressed with success, period.

Laugh. My. ***. Off if you believe this dumb ****. Idk where the **** you're from, but the PARENTS give a ****. The kids watch TV all **** day and see the Golden St warriors and Lebron dissing Trump. I grew up in the midst of it. I'm telling you straight up, if Mike Leach walks all up in a recruits house, they will initially give 0 fks about his political views. But let Trump start opening his mouth and Leach opens the floor up to it...SOME of the recruits PARENTS will not like it. I KNOW people from inner city Miami-Dade / Broward in the football scene that absolutely hates Trump and the only time they follow politics is when its election time.

He’s the only one on my list.

Anyone else we have a chance at will be a disappointment
And this is exactly why our fan base is so toxic. This type of thinking is what leads to people flying banners within a couple years, like they have basically every coach we've had since and including Butch Davis.
