Context is keyWe have up 142 rushing yards per game, in the ACC where we only faced 3 above average RB. Most of the time when teams ran power plays we got killed. Shaq is terrible at fighting off blocks, and meeting RBs in the whole, Mike, choses a side too much, and McCloud don’t wrap up. I’m not saying they are not good, but they are not a good as we make them seem.
We faced 4 of the top 15 rushing offenses last year in ga tech,Wisconsin, bc, Pitt. Held ga tech a full yard under their average and they ran pretty much every play. Pitt had the #14 rushing offense in the country when they played Miami and had 73 yards on 38 carries. Pitt had a power running game did Miami get killed there?
Of course the rushing yards per game will be higher. They weren’t elite in defending the run but still very solid and much better than what you are trying to insinuate
