Sorting the Table

The tables above can't be sorted by columns right now other than the default. However, you can copy the table into the clipboard and sort it yourself in Google Sheets or Excel.

Steps.



  1. Copy table into the clipboard
  2. Paste into Google Sheets
  3. Optionaly hightlight (i.e. bold) the column header (first row)
  4. Under the Data menu, select Sort, then advanced range sorting option
  5. Click on data has header row (i.e. the row you bolded in step 3)
  6. Select the column that will be the primary sort column (i.e. OV date, commit date etc.)
  7. Click on sort
  8. Profit

There is a lot of confidence in the linebacker board. Miami is in great communication with Kaden Henderson (Tampa, FL), Jalaythan Mayfield (Charlotte, NC), and Aroson Randle, Jr. (Raleigh, NC). They also continue to work on Ohio State commit Quinton Cypher (Raleigh, NC). I'd expect us to take three here. ​

Thread 'The Bank (2/18)'

We're a few weeks away from spring unofficial visit season, which will kick recruiting into a new gear. Here's the latest I'm hearing:

- I don't expect this class to be as large as last year. It may be closer to 20 players than 30. The staff wants more natural attrition than forced roster movement, and they trusts their evaluations of the players already on the roster. The early returns on the 2027 class look strong.

- While he's picked up Oregon buzz, I expect Miami to make an aggressive run at QB Will Mencl (Chandler, AZ). He's originally from Broward and is someone Miami...

The linebacker board remains stacked. Kaden Henderson (Tampa) visits tomorrow with family. AJ Randle (Raleigh, NC) is one of the most talented athletes in the class. The Canes remain in strong contact with JJ Mayfield (Charlotte, NC) and Noah Glover (DMV). Quinton Cypher (Raleigh, NC) is elite and Miami will keep trying to flip him from Ohio State. ​

We're about to enter the heart of recruiting season for the next three months. Here is the latest from the Hecht:

- While Texas A&M should be considered the favorite, Miami remains in contact with OT Mark Matthews (St. Thomas Aquinas). The Canes are also in contact with OT Oluwasemilore Olubobola (Jersey City, NJ). Both of those situations could move fast.

- In terms of the big name guys, communication is particularly strong with CB Gabe Osborne (Oklahoma City, OK) and DT David Folorunsho (Chicago, IL).

AJ Randle, Noah Glover, and Sean Fox would be Great imo


I'd like to see us go for Israel Hammons from Oklahoma. Ranked 200th in composite. Only offer he doesn't have from those typical southwestern conference schools is OU. Already 6'3" 225lbs. Competes All over in T&F. 100,200,400, HJ, LJ, Shotput+Discus.... Seems like a high quality athlete with already great build.

3star super underrated guys to go after or go harder for maybe:

- Ethan Hauser. 6'3" 200lbs. Already has an offer from us. But Idk how this dude is ranked 782 on the composite with the offers he has. Dude plays for Buford GA which is a powerhouse, and has offers from US, Bama, UGA, Michigan, Texas, Oregon, USC, A&M, VTech, UNC, UF, UTenn, etc, etc... You really don't usually see that much...

- Ba'Roc Willis. Similar to Hauser, except the better athlete. And at 6'3" 220lbs. From Bama. Again already has an offer from us. And pretty much has the same offer list except add like LSU and remove UGA+Oregon.....

While the public discussion has been focused on Tampa’s Kaden Henderson (who we like), Coach Hetherman is enamored with AJ Randle (Raleigh, NC) and Jerrell Chandler (Knoxville, TN). He places a premium length and athleticism and those are the two highest-upside backers on the board. We are pushing extremely hard and have momentum.​

Recruiting is speeding up even before official visit season, so it’s a good time to take the temperature of the class. Here is the latest I’m hearing:

- I haven’t heard any optimism yet regarding Mark Matthews (STA). With that said, his situation is different than Jackson Cantwell this time last year. Unlike Missouri, Florida does not permit early NIL deals. I don’t think it would’ve mattered with Cantwell anyway, but Matthews will be more vulnerable for a flip and Miami will push like crazy.

- The Canes could have likely landed Olu Olubobola (Jersey City, NJ) but the price...
