It’s a business. Current players presumably know their status & have been presented NIL package for next season. If haven’t or can’t reach agreement, then they can hit the portal.

Got friends that are PItt fans/alumn and live in the Burgh. They said the rumors up there are that Biles re-signed with Pitt for $2.5mil Take that for what its worth. Rumor mills are in expanded operations this time of year with agents putting in large orders.

Eli Holstein is in the portal. I haven't seen Mason Heintschel enter. I also thought that was a lot to pay a LB and asked them that same question. they said it sounded really high but its what is rumored.

Sorsby is mostly likely getting $6 million base. The market across the board has changed and it's really crazy now.. He is the only top position player we have been pursuing so far for a reason. I am going to ask around on what Coleman got from OSU.

Yeah, seems way way too high. I have hard time believing in that number. If he did actually re-sign with Pitt I would have to guess that they matched other offers or gave slightly more. $2.5mil seems extremely unlikely.
