No way either team is ranked 1 after the first week unless every team above them loses and that just isn't happening especially since 2 of those teams are Bama and UGA.

I agree tho I think UGA and Bama are both in down years w the uncertainty of QB play. beck isnt really getting good reviews from what I read and Bama has their own QB issues. if there was a year for a surprise one and done to get hot and win, its this one (come on Mario).

There are a lot of women who are very knowledgeable about sports, generally, though there are probably fewer who are great at football analysis, just on a statistical and experiential basis. So many commentators in football are people (guys) who have played the game, so it skews the statistics in such a way that there are very few female football commentators.

Having said that, we also have had the more recent phenomenon of female sports reporters/commentators being hired...SEEMINGLY...more for their good looks than for their insightful analysis. And don't get me wrong, it's possible to have the total package, but it's not a guarantee.

The short version of that windup is that we do sometimes experience the "very attractive sports commentator" who is given a lot more credibility for bad opinions (based on current job and job title) than is truly earned. It happens.

She's an objectively attractive woman. May not be someone's type--totally fair--but to suggest she's a 4 or 5 is crazy. That's just silly message board talk.

But, this is the way this board works. If she says a good thing about the Canes, we can post it and I guarantee you every poster's reaction would then be "she got n00dz?" She's getting criticized here not for her looks but because she made a silly-ish comment that no one here likes.

I always find it interesting how if FSU is even halfway decent.. the media all join in together on a suck off fest on them.

This FSU them is no where near as good or in the same league as those FSU teams under Bimbo.. but somehow bunch of media acting like they a playoff team.

I can vouch for Kelsey Riggs on ACC network. She was a good friend in high school and lived in charlotte when she started her career there. She puts a lot of time and effort in to leading the acc shows, but she does not know Xs and Os. Her work ethic has made her into a **** of a host though.

Yeah, that's probably the best way to describe it. Maybe a splash of annoyance mixed in as well.

They do the same for us, too.

The media wants the Florida schools to be good...they all know it is better for college football at large and their bank accounts.
