Aaron Hernandez would have been Aaron Hernandez no matter if Urban would have booted him off the team. Someone else would have given him a shot.

And it's a ****head move to think all liberals think the same.If you think Urban Meyer is responsible for Aaron Hernandez snapping when some guy spilled a drink on him and then shooting up his car I really don't know what to tell you.
Hernandez is obviously a deranged person, nothing Urban Meyer, scumabag he is, did would've changed that.
Come on man, no one is responsible for their own actions anymore. It's the liberal game of blame someone else for your actions...retarded I tell you.

LOL. I have this douche on ignore and didn't see that he inserted politics into the principles of well-understood behavioral psychology. This positively reinforces my decision to put this fratada on ignore.

You made a definitive statement..
Some get second chances, some don't.

Right! Like the one we have right now. Whoops...I love how people think Miami would be like Oregon if we ran the spread. The difference between us and every other school that runs that offense is that WE COULD FIELD A COMPETENT DEFENSE.
How in the blue **** is us running the spread on offense going to help us field a competent defense? One has nothing to do with the other. Good job, good effort.
Agree as well, just like Wildcat did. Except the issue with Gibson is that he does NOT want to run a pro-style offense in college--in his own words, he wants a spread no-huddle read-option. I'm all for using a Dual-Threat type guy in a pro-style offense. Playaction, rollouts, draws, some Pistol or even traditional spread read option...all of that is entirely possible out of a pro-style offense that is designed around multiple formations. Why does everyone just assume because you have a mobile qb, that you need to run read option all the time with them? I mean running just our regular offense with a qb that can run would work great. he drops back, and the defense will need to have a qb spy on him at all times or else he takes off for 5-10 yard gains all day. and by putting a guy in spy it is taking away one of their players.
The problem comes when you have a Qb who is completely run first, pass second. That, to me, is the type of QB Gibson is. He is a gifted athlete, but not a gifted qb. I mean in college, maybe he will succeed at the position, But in the NFL he won't. Getting athletic qb's is great for your offense, but not when they aren't better passers than they are runners. I mean some examples would be Russel Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Jameis Winston, and Marcus Mariota. I mean they run read-option every once in a while, but they are successful because they are good passers, and when they have space they will take off running if someone isn't open. I mean Gibson would be smarter in my opinion to go into a pro style offense, because it's better to find out if you can succeed at the position in college rather than the NFL before it's too late. Then if he doesn't do well he can change to wr, and still earn a high draft pick.
This is why Gibson doesn't get it. He can be effective and dominant in BOTH kinds of offenses--he's that talented. Saying pro-style has become a dirty word in the era where the spread is the new toy for JV/HS coaches...and Gibson has bought into it, and has pigeon-holed himself as a result. The difference between running a true Spread is college and a true Pro-Style in college for Gibson could be a full round in the draft, and a lesser learning curve when he gets to the NFL. He's got to think about that and make (hopefully) the right choice, which just so happens to also be in his backyard.

Pro-style has always been loosely defined as multiple sets, pretty much. The definition is a living/breathing one and changes as the trends in the pros do.And to add, the whole prostyle vs. spread debate is silly for another reason. The term 'prostyle' really has no meaning. It implies that it's a style that mimics what the pros do. That being the case, a vast majority of pro teams are operating out of spread formations now. So if you're referring to 'prostyle' then you're most certainly referring to lots of multiple sets and spread formations.
The fullback no longer exits in the NFL and most of the TE's are spread out like receivers and used as such. Like I said before the idea some of you have of offenses is supremely outdated. If Gibson doesn't succeed it will be because he's a pretty bad passer from what I've seen. Playing in a spread offense won't be the reason he fails. He needs a lot of work as a passer whether that's in a spread offense or a 'prostyle' one.
