Having experienced 2018, we can easily go 5-7 in 2019. We just went 7-5 with an easy schedule, and with one of the best defenses in the country.Yes. But don't let facts get in your way. We lost games due to losing the turnover battle (in most losses), poor field position due to a horrible punting game and a HC that chose to follow his gut which has always led him astray in the past. So Let's see who we lost to and examine that point.
LSU- We don't play this year but Florida is somewhat similar so we might lose.
Virginia- We have them at home and I don't believe we will turn the ball over 3 times in our own territory to allow them to beat us again and we have them at home. Plus they lose 3/4 secondary. They scored 16 points and we barely lost.
Boston College- We don't play them and Louisville (replacement on schedule) is not good.
Duke- We lost the turnover battle and they don't have Jones or Rahming this year.
GT- New system new coach. They will not be running the **** option anymore and will need time to flip the roster. We have them at home also.
Here's the thing. I'm ****ed too and I don't think that Richt is a good coach or someone who will lead us to the playoffs or much less win it all. But, put your hurt feelings aside and really look at this pathetic schedule which is even worse than this year. The only games in question are Florida and Florida State and that's only because of Richt and his 30 year old offense.
I say 10 and 2, winning the coastal and losing to Clemson in the ACC game. Richt will get an extension and **** everyone off...LOL.
