Rooting for a surprise bowl berth at whatever bowl at the LA Memorial Coliseum. I can leave my gentrified neighborhood, dodge a few homeless encampments, and be at the game in 20 min.

Is the ACC orange bowl rule the highest AP ranked team or the highest computer ranking -the way they select the playoff teams? Interesting that 538 has Miami as the third highest ACC school now behind Clemson and Wake.

My understanding was that the OB took the highest ACC ranked team and those stinking Irish.

I can't find that answer anywhere. I'd bet it's not specified, to give them a little flexibility. We are currently 2nd in FPI and Sagarin, but behind Wake, UVA, and VT in the polls. All three will have at least one more loss, as Wake will lose to Clemson this week, and the UVA/VT winner will lose in the ACC championship game.

Of course, it's moot if we don't handle our own stuff, which is no sure thing.

I researched it, and it's highest per CFP. their rankings only go to 25, so not sure who is where. Right now Wake is in the top 25 but they play Clemson.

If we win out and the coastal champ/ACCCG loser goes to the Orange (probably UVA), the camping world bowl isn’t passing on us for ******* Virginia Tech or Pitt or whatever. We go to Nashville if we lose to Duke.

I would be happy with Camping World. Especially since I already have tickets (came with the package I had to buy for the Gator game)
Other wise I'll sell them to purchase Music city...damned sure won't be going to Cali though.
