Lashlee's first team meeting this Sunday

Who knows if that room can Reset?...........by Spring practice, and with S& C coming up, we will get an inkling.

Umm, most likely no. Don’t you recall DIAF when he first took over? He repeatedly used the term “clean slate” when talking about the QBs and the team in general. Same message, same sh1tty corch.

He’s got me on my knees already.

I like the fact that he is a younger guy. Sounds crazy but young minds are dominating at OC now in the NFL and college game. These old guys are on their way out with their old way of thinking about how offenses should be run.

I also like that he is instilling the mentality in them now that they will get their swag back on offense and they will score a lot of points. Positive vibes and thoughts and expectations right out the gate. Letting them know now that the days of scoring 20 points or less in a game are over. The goal will be to score 20points per quarter if they buy in! Lets me know that he already is throwing out any excuses that UM doesn't have enough talent to run his offense. He sees the talent in the room and knows they can be **** good. This isn't going to be some 2 year window to "get the right guys in". The guys are there now in his mind. I love that. That's the "Urban Meyer" mentality.

I am not completely sold but I like what I am hearing.

I'm wondering what you think he should have said? Glad to be here this morning, honored to have the job. Btw Kosi you have two strikes and Jarren you have one and I have my eye on you?

He said the exact same thing every single coach in America says.

I am with you. I like what I am hearing, but still in the wait and see mode. I want to see this fast swag offense before I am a total believer

I like how he says "we're gonna be fact, physical, discipline", "we're gonna out up a lot of points" and not "we have to" "we should". That WE WILL attitude sets the tone and tells the players that its that or that... no other choice.

serious issues remain...........recalibrate is more appropriate than reset..
Attitude change is what we are hoping for....especially among QB's.
And we have the new guy in and hoping to add another grad transfer, pretty clear message being sent to all qbs from last year. I’m expecting at least 2 transfer.
I hope he makes the practices so **** hard that some of week minded guys leave.

We all obviously like what we're hearing here but for some reason the way this was shot and the way Lashlee speaks (cadence/accent) reallllly reminded me of the televised services from like Calvary Chapel.

Pastor Jake is 29 yrs old and wearing jeans as he spreads the Gospel through stories the kids and young couples can relate to. "Offensive football is hard but marriage is harder. Amirite, fellas?!" Maybe an acoustic guitar even comes out at some point.
