Agreed, a lot of people made themselves look like complete fools.I love the majority of posters here, which is why I was flabbergasted when some people honestly believed we had seen the whole playbook against UAB.
It was so obvious that we were holding back. Happy that we finally put it into high gear tonight.
I'm going to have to disagree with you here my friend. I'm not buying it. First off I don't think that the DTs we had in 2016-2018 we're better to the extent you are suggesting. You do have a point however that Norton/McIntosh and then Willis/Whoever were better DT tandems than Silvera/Ford etc. This is a contributing factor but not the main reason for our decline in play.Baker is not the problem. We all compare the defense Manny ran to Baker and the d-tackles we had back then were alot better. Imagine if Rousseau was playing that would make the defense alot better. They will get better
LCE, that's what has me excited the most. You could tell from last night that Lashlee was coaching his *** off, telling players where to go, etc and that there were some times where all of our players didn't see what he saw. These kids are still learning but as they continue to get better, which will allow him to install more AND go quicker? Look out!Told yall back in January, we were going to light shìt up with Lash & King...
And don't forget, we didn't have a Spring camp, which means we missed several months of install which was pivotal for a brand new offense & building chemistry.
It's gonna take time, but as the season progresses you'll see this Offense running at optimum level...
FSU & UVA are gonna catch an asswhoopin they're not prepared for, they gonna leave Hard Rock with the sniffles snot bubbles popping out their noses crying mad AF like, "Nah bruh this shìt unfair, we ain't even do nothing to yall! Yall coulda took the first team out in the 2nd quarter!"
JT4 would've been our most dangerous WR in this offense.Jeff Thomas and Hightower are both morons. What could have been. That is all.
Honorable mention to Bandy.
On paper yes, but the mope in me figures jt4 would have jt4'ed his way out of the offense by now...JT4 would've been our most dangerous WR in this offense.
Lashlee would know exactly how to use him.
JT4's issues were compounded by the fact he was playing in Pro Style bro offense that didn't play to his strengths. On paper yes, but the mope in me figures jt4 would have jt4'ed his way out of the offense by now...
