Lashlee quote

That used to bring accusations of tampering, I thought. Maybe legal, but not well regarded...at least, so I thought.

It’s like *********ing on an airplane , frowned upon but not illegal. Then again...: maybe it is illegal

I had friends who played at Southwest in the early '60's. They had some good players at SW, but always played in shadow of Gables powerhouses. When they opened Coral Park in early '60's I thought it drained talent from SW but don't really know that for a fact.
True , I loved the Thanksgiving Day game against Gables even though we always lost.

One year a club called “Thanes “ the night before I last played snuck into Gables and bricked up there locker room causing a (2) hour game delay.
The Miami Herald called them “ The midnight masons “
Brother I loved SW , what If I told you Jim Kelly played QB in back yard pick up games in Chickillo’s back yard on 87th ave .

I have some great stories

I agree but in order to get better players, you have to develop what you have. I never understood why if Miami cannot find 5 guys to play the majority of the staff they why they just don't use more players. Depth could help if there is a lack of talent on the offensive line.
we only had six playable linemen, period. Which game was it two went down, Donaldson and somebody else? Even I could see problems with guys like Herbert and Hillary.

It is illegal, I'm pretty sure. Just read an account of a guy arrested off a plane after a woman complained even though it was under a blanket. I've read guys do it under blankets in prison because if they are caught they get punished. Women corrections officers are particularly mean and vicious about it and there are more and more of them.

Just type ********** into the search box:

**** snowflakes, I remember the good ole days when you could light up a heater with one hand and rub one out with the other.

That’s a scary thought knowing our QB’s and WR don’t even know how to study a playbook.

This is my concern. We clearly have issues on the team which are more in-depth than a coordinator, and some of the bums on this site cant see past a star rating. Our big time 5-star just transferred because he literally didn't remember any of the plays.

Like I said, my guys were early-, really almost, mid-sixties. They were in a club called "Bucks" and used to get into fights with Counts and Ching-tang (Chinks) from Gables. (Today, even the illegal HS fraternities would be politically correct and change that name.)

Don Soldinger was in Bucks but he was a little older than my friends.

Some of the other guys I remembered MSW were Hank Hall (RB-DB) who went to Auburn, Fred Troike (LB who went to Alabama but I think transferred to a smaller program); Jay McCoy (RB); Steve Tannen (A-A safety at UF and later with Raiders). There were others but I can't remember. My good friend played C-LB. He is now deceased.

As much talent as MSW had, Gables had more. They had begun to overtake longtime powerhouse Miami High.

Back in the day Miami High played powerhouses from Jacksonville. Sometime back DaytonaCane posted about trips down to Miami from Jax. Her future husband, Doug Davis, played for Jax Lee than he came to UM. Played fullback for us, right after our all-time great Don Bosseler went to the NFL. Doug was on same offense with A-A QB Fran Curci and future Raider great Jim Otto. Back then, fullback was key in our option attack. As I said in another thread, the Gustafson Miami Drive Series Belly Option (which he first conceived of with the non-pareil all-world West Point backfield in the late '40's), might have been the true invention and forerunner of option offenses, not some Texas high schools adaptations.

Actually, Miami and Army QB great Arnold Tucker might have come out of the great program at Miami High. Don't remember for sure.

Steve Tannen remember him ?

I remember worst seasons.

In the last 40 years I can't remember a worse season. This year was an absolute cake schedule and we had no sanctions against us. Even the 2007 season the schedule was tougher losing to 4 ranked teams.

This year we lost to FIU, DUKE, and GT. Please name a season worse than this year where we didn't have sanctions or loss of scholarships.

More tough talk quotes. I have no idea who Lashlee is, but being a coordinator at Miami is strike 1. Being hired by Manny Diaz is strike 2. Interesting career move to jump on board a sunk ship for one season until the HC that hired him gets fired.

I really like what Feely is doing. Everything I've seen from him (outside of the 110s that I'm pretty sure were a mental drill) is rooted in modern sports science, down to the pre-game potentiation with light Olympic lifts rather than the traditional stretches that science is like "nah"

Feeley has done well except it’s hard to understand what’s going on with Donaldson.

Don’t worry Lashlee can’t save your precious manny. How are you manny slurpers still around after the worst season I can remember
Your juvenile reply doesn't change the fact that Lashlee did exactly what any coach would by putting forth a statement after being hired. You're just too hormonal and irrational to get that.

Along with the rest of your whining, the fact you say you don't know who Lashlee is just shows you know little about college football. He's one of the top young up and coming coordinators in college.

Love to talk to him and get a quote after the first time he tries the harder and faster than the game idea. Lol.
