I have NOT made a decision. Whenever I make one ill be sure to let EVERYBODY know. Smh lol all other rumors are false!!

What are the rumors out there? I don't see much discussion on this at all...or at least not in the last 2 weeks.

Haven't seen any rumors, but based on who else is coming out, I think it would be in Shane's best interest to come back for another year.

Doesn't he also only have a day left? Or is 4/26 the final day?

This stupid rule is finally starting to make sense (if this is correct).

Tomorrow is the day to declare "I am staying in college" (how stupid). The issue is the NBA gives a deadline of April 28th. So one can say they are staying in college and then on or before the 28th, declare for the draft.

IMO, Shane would not be a top 5 PG drafted (possibly #7 PG drafted overall). I don't think he is a sure fired first rounder either.

I dont see him as a first round pick. His Dad must be getting told this by his ESPN friends. He should comeback.

This is a weak draft i could see him go late first round to a contender and be a backup pg. I would love for him to stay but he should go

He shouldn't go, I saw 2 mock drafts neither had him in 1st round. If he comes back he is the best PG in the country. He probably goes top 20 next year. In no way should he go this year.

This is wrong. If he was guaranteed a first round pick, which he is not, it would be one thing. In this draft, he isn't a top 5 PG. He may not be a top 7. Kids are declaring early that will go before him. This doesn't include the foreign kids who teams take chances on.

Maybe. But if not this year, then he never will be. My thing is (and go ahead and hate me if y'all want) Larkin isn't going to ever be starting in the NBA.

But he has a chance (a small one) to take Miami BACK to the sweet 16 or further [ twice more?]

Larkin's chance to become a legend is here at the []_[]

The bolded part is not true. He is only going to get better. He is only going to improve his game. He is going against a pretty good PG class and that is why if he leaves when the competition is weaker and HE IMPROVES, he will be drafted in the first round.

Larkin starting, I don't know. I don't see why he couldn't if he improves his game. He will always have a athletic advantage against his opponent, he is able to distribute the ball well (needs to improve) and he has a very good penetration move. His knack on him is his height. There are 30 teams in the league and there are still not 30 evenly distribute STARTING PG. If he gets in the right situation, I could see him starting. If he is drafted by the Bulls late, then he will be riding the pine behind Rose.

NBA is a different animal. Even first rounders get cut all the time.

That isn't even remotely true. That next to never happens and if it does, its usually a behavioral thing. NBA has fully guaranteed contracts for first round picks. The last pick of the first round gets roughly 2 years, 2 mil. The first pick of the second round gets the same as the last pick of the imaginary round. No guarantee.

If Shane projects 1st round he should go, if he doesn't he should stay. No guaranteed money, no hurry to leave. Next year is a very strong draft though

Correct. First round contracts are entirely different from second round.

You are right, I was less right. I misread an article about draft picks in the NBA. I still think the NBA is a different animal, and Larkin is no shoe in for being a 1st rounder, in fact, he might not get drafted at all.

Marcus Smart is staying in college. Reports are that moves Larkin up to the #3 PG behind Burke and MCW. I think he declares.
