Laremy Tunsil to the dolphins

The tackle situation ain't much better. If Tunsil keeps his nose clean then you have the most important position on the line locked up. Add in Pouncey at center and that'd a great start. But obviously there is a risk with Tunsil but at 13 I don't think Miami had much of choice based on needs. I think 13 was too high for Lee and too high for any other CB after Hargreaves went to the Bucs. Jack fell because of injury and he likely won't play this year.

Now Zbrod will tell you that Jack himself told people that he had to have surgery, for some reason it makes his knee injury magically disappear.

Myles Jack admits he could eventually need microfracture surgery on knee - CBSSports.com he said it

I believe that he said it, I just don't see how him saying it makes the injury any better.
It's not about the injury or even about how they didn't take him pizzle, read everything I've posted. he is going to play this year at some point he isn't a Jaylen Smith situation where it's total knee is destroyed. they're worried his knee won't hold up. When he plays he's an instant upgrade over Koa Misi and if you don't want to take him then fine MAKE A MOVE THAT MAKES THE TEAM BETTER...trade down draft a corner, Linebacker, or Guard or at least a tackle that translates to guard like Germain Ifedi to start next to Byron and stockpile picks and turn Laremy Tunsil into two or three players that start like Reggie Ragland or Mackenzie Alexander or whoever they seeing starting next year instead of drafting a LT that has a potential to be a top 10 LT with character issues and playing him out of position. Not including he hasn't even played a full season at ole miss

How do you know they didn't try to trade down? Maybe they couldn't get the package they were looking for. Not every team is willing to sell the farm the way the Rams and Eagles did.

That didn't happen, they were apparently thrilled that he fell to them. I get why everyone likes it but there's so many needs on defensive in a deep defensive draft that I don't understand why they wouldn't want to trade down and get as many as possible. I know these guys like Leon Hall so maybe that's the plan all along but still Koa terrible at MLB and another LB for depth, we need another DT, we need a RB, **** we even need a TE and there's only 2-3 quality ones this draft...

Myles Jack will never be the same after micro fracture surgery. His honesty cost him 10 million dollars.

He was thought to be the number one pick two weeks ago. **** yeah you take him.

over Myles Jack though??? I mean I get it we have O-line problems and you can possibly move Juwan James inside but they signed Jermon Bushrod who said he coming to play G, as well as Kraig Urbik and Myles Jack is an instant upgrade over Koa Misi, same can be said Darron Lee. They could've even traded down, gotten more picks, and have gotten a good CB in William Jackson

Miles Jack has injury questions at a position where athletes don't last due to injuries

Jack might need microfracture surgery. That sounds way too risky for me. My concern is that he hooks up with Dion Jordan and they go on a weed smokin binge, lol. All kidding aside Tunsil was considered the number one pick at one time so yeah u take him. I just hope we scoop up Artie in the second round.

...so a guy who also has a lawsuit over his head and was supposedly in the same hotel with Robert Nkemdiche is safe, when the other option is just as talented at his position with no question marks other than a doctor might need to break his knee to make stronger in an era where recovery have been cut in half and have come back better isn't?? Seriously??

guess you know more than entire NFL, which is great.

Until the Dolphins picked I forgot they still had a team. The Bucs got our lock down homeboy corner from New Tampa. Tonight we'll give Jameis another weapon in a speedy slot with many options available in Sterling Sheppard, Pharaoh Cooper or the ex-osu qb. DE and option too, but you gotta get you #1 QB some weapons.

What is the over/under on how many games he misses 1st year for injuries and smoke inhalation?

I don't think he will miss any... Dolphins got a steal... and things may workout in his favor ... Being in Miami close to home... non-state tax
things happen for a reason... not always the way we want... but sometimes the way we need.

I was a kid in the OB when Joe Auer ran that opening kickoff back for Fins first TD and every game of the Perfect Season, so I hope you are right. Compared to some of the bonehead picks the Fins have made, he does look like a steal. Considering what he fell into last night, the young man certainly came up seeming like a rose. Unlike so many, lets hope he learns his lesson. For me, I'll take you kid over five of him.

I think this is the best draft in years for the Dolphins. We got an elite offensive tackle, a fast tall physical corner and a RB with a similar explosive skill set as Lamar Miller. I applaud the Dolphins for these picks. Job well done

I think the Phins took a step back today. I don't really understand the Kenyan Drake pick. I would of took Collins, Booker or Perkins over him. I would have also opted for either Alexander or Fuller over Howard.

There's no question Drake is talented. He'll be an excellent 3rd down change of pace RB and he catches the ball really well. Howard is 6'1" fast and physical. He has the prototypical size and measurables for a CB. It's a valid argument to say those other players may be better. We'll let that play itself out in the season. But these pick were solid and at positions of need.

Kurt24 Xavien Howard has a skillset that translates well to FS if CB doesn't work out anyways

Agreed Zbrod95. I'm just happy to have a coaching staff that knows how to use their draft picks and make smart selections. No more reaching on picks ala Ted Ginns and Dion Jordan and countless others I can't remember.. Lol

I'm not a DolPhan, but I really like the Drake pick for them. Guy is a stud. Also, Collins is still out there for now, so keep hope alive homie.

As a longtime Dolphin fan (translation - I enjoy misery and have become accustomed to incompetence), I'm very happy with this draft. I can't even remember the last time I felt this way after a draft.

Next priority for this staff is to figure out what the F to do with Tannehill. That problem is a bit more complicated since franchise QB's are one of toughest things to find in all of sports...but Tannehill no longer has the excuse of having a bad O-line or bad skill position talent. I still say he's garbage but at the very least he's been surrounded with above average talent and a head coach that specializes in QB's.

It's now or never you bum. Prove me wrong.

If u stack the OL u fix 80% of the offense average backs become good and good become great. QB becomes serviceable. I have no problem picking OL. Especially with the injuries and lack of depth there.
