Yea your right because it wouldn't be smart to trade down to Cincinnati's pick, Draft William Jackson lll(because you know WE DONT HAVE ANOTHER FUXKING STARTING CB) put yourself in a position to draft Myles Jack now and Jaylen smith or maybe even Reggie Ragland because you don't feel comfortable taking 2 guys with injuries even though they probably have more potential, then draft Nick Martin (Zach Martin's younger brother) who can play guard and center( and could possibly let us let go of Mike Pouncey because apparently he broke his foot so many times that he forgot how to snap the ball from the shotgun without throwing it over Ryan Tannehill's head)or Christian Westerman who plays guard(which you know would kill our top three needs). Instead you guys want to move Tunsil there( who's never played there) or Brandon Albert(who hasn't played there in 12 years) because that same move worked out SO WELL the Greg Robinson and the Rams right?? Not to mention WE SIGNED two veteran guys in Jermon Bushrod who said he was going to play Guard and Kraig Urbik. But you know apparently I'm the clown that doesn't know ****...not to mention Laremy Tunsil has never finished a full season with Ole Miss in the first place. I'm not doubting his talent, but you could've gotten two or three good players for his talent and drafted more player of your top 50 board.
Tunsil is a Tyron Smith type of talent. I'm not sure what the problem is *shrugs.
Its easy to say "Hey, lets trade down so a CB we want can fall into our laps" but what if Cincy had their eye on Jackson III from the beginning? He's taken at
#13 , Tunsil is most likely off the board, and the Dolphins are looking pretty dumb but "We have more draft picks". I would rather take a chance on the blue-chip player rather than trading down for Jackson III. There are still some good corners left: Mackensie Alexander, Kendall Fuller, Keivarae Russell, James Bradberry, Cyrus Jones, Xavien Howard, etc. New DC Vance Joseph has a knack for developing corners so I'm not worried about CB unless we don't draft one at all.
If you're targeting Ragland or Jack in the 2nd, no way Martin or Westerman is available in the 3rd. Zach Martin was a LT at Notre Dame yet he's started at multiple positions in Dallas; it can be done. Greg Robinson was very raw coming out, Tunsil could have been a top 10 OT while he was in college. Bushrod is also an OT who will most likely transition to OG and Urbik is strictly a depth signing.
Either way you spin it the Dolphins have had bad luck at drafting blue-chip talent. They always get good players but never elite players. If Tunsil is as good as advertised, the OL will finally be solidified and it will open up a lot for this offense. What you need to understand is that all of their holes are not going to be filled in one year. Its just not going to happen, not in this weak draft. The Dolphins are rebuilding and the best way to rebuild is to stack talent regardless of position.
