If we want sellers as QB, go out and get the best blocking WRs and TEs in the country.
Go get two stud portal RBs.
Get Paul Johnson and Ken Niumatalolo on staff.
Party like it's Lincoln 1995.
This list preparedby the same people who voted preseason top 25?
The team I referenced won a national title.
Off on him too. Watched some tape. They opened the offense for his throwing and it's not there. His eyes drop, there's no pre-snap, the accuracy flails badly...15 picks in 2 seasons as a starter for a guy who barely throws the ball to begin with is eye opening...
He also only rushed for 270yds this season. They specifically designed the Offense for him to cut back on running the ball so much & focused more on giving him full field read progressions within the pocket. He failed miserably.
Because of all the preemptive hype surrounding him coming into the season he's going to command a very large NIL deal in the Portal.
I'm not so sure it would be wise to spend upwards of $1mill on a QB of this caliber.
Unless we plan on hiring Cody Worley or Clint Trickett, I'm having a hard time seeing what the connective tissue is here for a projection of outlier success.
Bro you were adamant about that Milroe convo last year too lolThis is LITERALLY the Jalen Milroe conversation all over again. Identical.
Bring him. We have 2 big time years with JKS and nothing else matters. You bring in JKS and you can almost guarantee you lose the entire QB room. Possibly Coleman too.
Nobody cares about losing Emory Williams or Judd Anderson. Coleman wouldn’t be playing next season anyway. You bring in JKS and you can almost guarantee you lose the entire QB room. Possibly Coleman too.
The scariest thing would be if Seller would go to GTech and run that offense there.Good point and this was my biggest issue with South Carolina's offense. They should've set up the pass with their 240-pound QB's running ability, especially since they lacked pass protection and receivers. I wonder if they made that concession to keep him. The truth is that running would not have hindered his NFL development (Hurts, Jackson, Allen).
If we were to get Sellers (and I have no info on that), we'd need to feature his running. Otherwise the juice is not worth the squeeze.
“He’s going to be a first round pick and you don’t want him”Bro you were adamant about that Milroe convo last year too lol
I was right there with you. You know we were down bad when we were begging for Jalen ******* Milroe“He’s going to be a first round pick and you don’t want him”
End of the third round, never going to play an NFL snap
“Our offense would be unstoppable with Jalen Milroe, 10 win floor”
Bama won more games this year without him
It was some of the dumbest **** I’ve ever seen. The game thread for their bowl against Michigan where people actually watched him play an entire football game for the first time was absolutely hilarious.
Milroe finished 6th in the Heisman. He’s a good player. You just need to play to his strengths.“He’s going to be a first round pick and you don’t want him”

His strengths are not sustainable though. Dropback passing game is the key difference between W and L. If your QB can't hit a 12 yard in on 3rd and 8 consistently, you're falling short.Milroe finished 6th in the Heisman. He’s a good player. You just need to play to his strengths.
I always considered you an intellectualThey are looking at it more from an NFL perspective, not a CFB perspective. For us why would/should we put all our eggs in a basket of a guy who actually hasn't proven he can throw the ball good. You can say it's all on the OLine, or it's all on the weapons, or whatever... But the top QBs still show they can complete passes, they make big time throws, and they limit their turnovers.
This would be a bet on the potential, it just may not one worth making if there are other options. It really depends who is in portal. I want a playmaker, but I want a guy that is accurate too and can throw in obvious must throw situations
That will probably be the decision that Golesh has to make.If the choice was between BYRUM BROWN and lanorris sellers I’m choosing brown all day for next year qb.
