Anyway....I've provided more than enough to validate my reasons for believing Kiffin would be successful at Miami, on to the next thread.

I wish your post made sense. I'm more confused than AG during the second half against FSU... Miami fan that also occasionally cheer for the Bulldogs and Trojans equal Kiffin supporter? Unlike CD, I don't get it. Oh well...guess i'll just do like everybody else and respond with this....

Who says Kiffin is a great evaluator? He's a great recruiter. High school kids want to play for him. I'll give him that. His classes were highly ranked, but I didn't get the impression he had some discerning eye for talent.

Who says he is great at developing talent? He hasn't proven it anywhere. Barkley went from a 1st round pick to a 4th round pick under Lane.

MAYBE he's a good evaluator and developer, but where's the evidence?

Plus, you forgot motivation. Getting guys amped up to play and knowing which buttons to push is critical, and as we established, SC quit on Lane. Not a good sign.

Everybody knows he's in a league of his own coaching offense, he's a beast recruiter and he hires an elite staff. He would kill in Miami.

2.)Bolded- He has been offered jobs because...1.) he's Monty Kiffin's kid who has connections...and he lived off oof the Reggie Bush/Leinart USC glory years.
3.)Bolden- Again...Pete Carrol coaches defense and is very hands on there...He wasnt under Carrol's Tutelage just on staff...He has been on Sabans staff not even a year...Saban is hands on defense..coaching his position up..dude aint learning sh*t under Saban.

He could recruit...but Miami sells itself...dont know whats this obsession of recruiting..just WIN...and these bandwagon south florida kids are coming....got **** Jonathan Martin could be the head coach.

Keep Kiffin sorry *** far away from here.....Dude is a spoiled lil baby that has shown nothing impressive imo...and had Saban not scooped him he would be coaching at a mid major program if that....

Saban is hands on in every aspect of the game the OCs before Kiffen had to run Sabans offense not the other way around, Kiffin is allowed to coach the way he wants under Sabans to the point you see Saban yelling at Kiffin in games because he doesn't agree with the play calling. Kiffin has full control over the offense at Alabama he's making a former RB look like a serviceable QB, his play calling has nothing more than good he's adapting his coaching to the players and players are loving Kiffin. That offense is energized through Lane Kiffin yes Kiffin is a Confident prick but he believes in all 11 players on offense, the dude is challenging the way Nick Saban thinking of offense were Nick is no longer conservative. If Kiffen is the coach during the FSU game no ******* way we lose that game. Kiffin has been given those chances because he's an amazing offensive mind and you have to have a good football IQ to coach for Saban. Tbh I rather have a confident prick who believes every play he calls is going to be a touchdown than the fat dumbass who calls the game to not lose.

The problem with posters like shayleon and the other Kiffin guys is that they fail to see what it takes to be successful as a head coach. They are looking primarily at recruiting and offensive coaching ability and assuming this guy has what it takes to be a HEAD COACH.

There is a reason why a lot of good coordinators don't become good head coaches. It takes a certain type of organization and maturity to run a great program as a hc and It goes beyond recruiting and play calling for your specific area of expertise.

Lane Kiffin doesnt seem to be able to handle the mental responsibility of having to tutor and mold young boys into men. Sure you can call plays... But can you hire good coaches? Will those coaches respect you? Can you trust and lead those coaches? Can the entire team come to you for advice or coaching? Are you respected as a leader of men?

Do you know how to communicate?

I think lane has great football iq and is a great play caller. But I think he's a spoiled brat that would never get the respect and undivided attention of a room full of men. That's why he lost that USC team.

Can't relate to the kids... Can't coach under pressure.


It's different when all you have to worry about is offense.

Being a head coach is noooo joke.

I don't think Kiffin could survive one year in Miami as a HEAD COACH

Miami wins with ELITE head coaches. That's it. Anybody who thinks we need to hire a "recruiter" has apparently been in a coma for the last 12 years.

Recruiting nerds and guys who get crushes on **** coaches are a nightmare.

If any of these flimsy-wristed turds had any sort of brain capacity, they would know that if you win at UM and create any sort of excitement around the program, you will have your choice of local recruits. They'll be beating the door down to come here. The reason our recruiting is falling apart is because everyone is hip to Folden and what an epic loser he is.

Guys forget that the two dudes who accumulated the most talent in the history of college football at UM were dyed in the wool rednecks from Arkansas. So all that "he doesn't understand the culture" **** is the talk of retards.

The culture is about winning and being part of what is cool and something they can be proud of. That's the same "culture" everywhere. Kids want to be associated with winners, and that's the culture Folden can't make happen.

I can't understand the fascination with this **** pile from a coaching perspective. He has been a disaster as a head coach. Why do we want another disaster of a HC? Haven't we had enough of this?

Yeah but the people you know there just work the fields and had no real significant interaction with him. He basically didn't speak one day or said he was not signing autographs, thus they hated him.

The recruiting love Cristobal gets is overrated. And he doesn't improve either side of the ball. Kiffin can get us a legit O, himself ... So, he only has to get 1 coordinator right. Cristobal has to get both.

At one point ... Pete Carroll and Bill Belichek were "train wreck coaches". But age and experience has improved both.

If Kiffin was hired, I wouldn't be upset.

I wouldn't ***** about kiffin because he's not Golden. But our next coach is Butch, that's a gimme. Or Rich Rod, Gundy, anyone with a successful HC pedigree.

Anything less is settling. And please don't compare Lane Kiffin to Belichik and Carroll, that's folly.
