Lane vs. Dixon

All this 2015 WR talk has me excited. However, focusing on 2014, I had a question for the group. If we had one receiver spot open with Lane and Dixon both wanting in, who do we take? Are they similar-type receivers or is one a big-play threat and the other a possession guy?

Lol he's a cb here but would be a beast at wr too. I would say though Dixon because I think he's got the bigger deep threat ability and taking away the size he's more complete of a receiver

Y not both? Seriously though, with one spot, I'm getting Dixon! I like Lane (he may even have a slight talent edge), but he dont bring it ALL the time. It seems like he's almost bored at times with the HS game. I vote for Dixon.

I don't think thats 100% true. He is an electric ATH and much like Travis Rudolph his future position here is up for debate.

I see Lane as one of those big play WRs that GT always has that stretches the field. Dixon I see more as a Santonio Holmes type, a sure handed dude who'll get you first downs. Dixon I think is a much safer prospect. I like them both but I'd roll the dice on Lane.

Hopefully Golden and staff can get MOST of them. langham, Dixon, Rudolph, and or Lane. Next year is LOADED as well with big time playmakers at receiver.Also have VERY talented kids this year besides just the 4 already listed. Clint Stephens, Lamar ParKer, even Jojo is a great athlete. You can see why UM decided to just take coley last year and no one else. Which was a very smart move when you look at the future. Between this class and next, UM will probably bring in 7-9 receivers.
